You are not required it post a topic or quesiton this week, so you will have more time to prepare for your midterm exam.

Discussion Questions

Question 1:

By midnight Thursday, post an answer to the following discussion question:

Describe a useful real world application for a stack, and a useful real world application for a queue (do not use examples already described in the online content or textbook).

Explain why your choices benefits from using the stack and using the queue.

Post your answer to the Week 4 Forum under the Discussion Question 1 topic.

Question 2:

By midnight Thursday, post an answer to the following discussion question:

Use a stack to convert an example expression from infix notation to postfix notation, using the convert and processOperator algorithms in your textbook on pages 178 and 179.

Your initial expression should contain at least 4 terms.

Show each step in the conversion, similar to the example in table 3.8 on page 179 of your textbook.

Post your answer to the Week 4 Forum under the Discussion Question 2 topic.

NOTE: Your discussion question examples must be unique from any example presented in the course content or readings, and also must not have been posted by another student.
