Comparison Between Innovative Leadership and Command Leadership Styles
The spacing should be double spaced 0 point before and after – NOT 8 point after
The innovation leadership is a proponent of an upstream communications-focused society (says who?). According to this leadership, the best and most original ideas come from below (says who?).. They (who is ;they??”) work to create an atmosphere that encourages innovative ideas to go up through the organization (Alharbi, 2021). A common description of the leadership is that it radiates enthusiasm, is energized, and is receptive to new ideas. Additionally, strong leadership is distinguished by a culture of shared trust. This very innovative corporate leadership cultivates amicable relationships with the staff that are advantageous to both parties.
The command leadership style mostly focuses on rigorous power and high levels of precision, both of which are advantageous when working with low-skilled individuals or when making important decisions (says who?).. Command leadership is mostly used in certain circumstances since it diminishes employee engagement. This style of leadership maintains that a group's leader ought to be an excellent leader who establishes a better starting position for its members so they may make the most of their strengths and abilities in an effort to further the organization's goals (Lindberg, 2021). With the aid of the controlling head, team members are able to develop the specific goals, criteria for assessment, timetables, and actions required to meet the corporate goal. Zero support for this whole paragraph
The two leadership philosophies (which are?) place their main emphasis on enhancing the organization (Gemeda & Lee 2020). They (who is “they?”)determine the objectives and requirements for the businesses. Both leadership paradigms convey organizational policies and developments.
Compared to innovative leadership styles, command leadership has a tendency to be slightly more strict, dictatorial and bureaucratic. The foundation of commanding and controlling is establishing and maintaining authority over individuals and organizational activities (Nging & Yazdanifard, 2015). This kind of leader is extremely effective and goal oriented. However, command structure leadership can, be viewed as restrictive. Moreover, this style of leadership frequently hinders the growth of other team members' leadership capacities (Lindberg, 2021).
Innovative leadership invests in a culture that promotes upstream communications, in contrast to command leadership, which practices hierarchy from top to bottom. According to the innovative leadership theory, the best and most original ideas come from below. They work to create an atmosphere that encourages creative ideas to go up through the organization (GerganaHorth & Buchner, 2014).
Innovative leadership is persuasive, as opposed to command leadership which supports giving a leader instructions on what policies and procedures should be followed (Davis, 2019). This makes this style of leadership extremely effective at persuading people to embrace great ideas. Therefore, unlike the command style of leadership, this style does not impose or push its beliefs on its followers. The command leadership is tenacious, in charge, and impartial. A regiment with well-defined tasks is a suitable fit for a command leader. On the other hand, an unpredictable or dynamic situation is more appropriate for the innovative leader.
