2. Explain your progress on completing the Week 4: Course Project Part 2 assignment.

Working on the second part of the course project required more thorough

research. Numerous studies suggest that the vulnerability of Hispanic communities

to cardiovascular and cancer-related diseases are influenced by a myriad of factors,

including physical, mental, cultural, and socioeconomic influences.

As such, developing solutions for this health problem requires collective effort

from governments and healthcare workers. In addition, the multiple factors involved

in this health problem must be taken into consideration when developing solutions.

For these reasons, more thorough research was needed to determine whether

relevant studies provide similar findings and suggestions with respect to the

factors involved in the problem and the interventions that can potentially address it.

With the volume of insights obtained from various studies and sources, there was a

need to organize data effectively to make valid and reliable interpretations.

During this process, the multifaceted nature of the problem was further

emphasized. Specifically, gaps in current healthcare programs and services

for the Hispanic populations revealed a need for better medical coverage so

that this ethnic population will have better access to the health information and

services they need. As I move forward with my research, I will continue to explore

this issue in order to identify the more concrete and specific healthcare

needs of this population.
