Week 4 Alternative Decision Matrix for Case System Assignment

Create an alternative decision matrix for the case system. Using Excel or Word, develop a decision matrix to be used to evaluate three proposed design alternatives (alternatives A, B, and C). The idea is to create a worksheet that can be applied to any set of alternatives.

Criteria: Decision matrix has columns for criteria weights and points available, and columns that represent three proposals. Within each proposal include columns for points assigned and the product of points assigned times criteria weight. The bottom row of the matrix contains column totals.

Use Wufoo to develop an input form using some of the key fields from your project. Copy (or take a screenshot of) the design and paste it into Word document with a title page.  Provide the resulting URL as well.

Criteria: Design incorporates good choice of colors, text, font, arrangement, and evidence of possible navigation (as in a “submit” button).

Week6: Design (Part 3)

Record a presentation of your project

The goal of your culminating project presentation is to explain your project and your findings.

Create a narrated presentation 

of your project that is 8-10 minutes in length. Cover the details of your project, how your project improves the current business system, and how to transition to your project. Select a presentation software of your choice to create your narrated presentation. You must have audio and a visual aid in your presentation. I have linked some options that you may choose from, or you may use software that you are familiar with. Please save video files to YouTube, Dropbox, Google Drive, or another cloud storage space that allows you to share a link to your presentation with me. Submit the link of your recorded presentation to me on the appropriate submission page on before the deadline.

WEEK7:

Implementation Phase

Conduct research to find information about a failed project or a failed product that led to a new discovery. Your report must include the following:

1. Share a failed project/product that is related to technology (it can be from any era).

2. Explain in detail the failed project/product and provide information about the new discovery made as a result.

WEEK 8:

Week 8 Project Document Assignment

For your Week 8 Assignment, compile all prior weeks' assignments into a single document. Be sure to make corrections and improve your work based off of my feedback in this final assignment. Then, add the following:

1. Provide information on how your project could improve the current business system.

2. State how to transition this project that you are proposing.

3. Criteria: Your document should address the above items, and may include other items of transition. 

4. Use APA formatting for citations and references.
