Christianity as a whole made up about 80% of religion in the United States. According to our book, the break-off or first religion that makes up most of that 80% is going to be Protestants. Protestants then break into separate denominations one being Baptist and another being Lutheran. Although, there are more than those two denominations what stuck out for the Baptist practices is that they are the largest group of Protestants second to Catholics. As for Lutherans that the law and the bible are necessary for their beliefs to stay on the right path (Hemeyer, 2016).

Tamika, Thanks for your contribution. You write that "Baptism is a ceremony of acknowledgment and adoption, consistently using water, into Christianity." From your research, can you tell whether the Protestants endorse child baptism or at what age is one permitted to be baptized?
