Proposed Solution for M3 Credit Union Company for Cloud Infrastructure
Proposed Solution
Introduction
The M3 Credit Union is facing high turnover due to employee dissatisfaction with the existing system. With the proposed solution, the union will be able to provide its client with uncompromised customer service, while showing respect to ethics, privacy compliance, and regulatory. However, the current system depicts a mixed environment of infrastructure, presenting a significant challenge to administration and management. Furthermore, legacy systems and software mainframe make up a diverse environment. Some of the IT infrastructures in the organization include Windows server 2012 Hyper-V, Client Server, and wireless computers installed with Microsoft Office 2010. Besides, the organization comprises of other IT infrastructures, such as firewalls, VPN, switches, DHCP, and routers. For many workers, managing a mixed environment is a big challenge because they do not have the required skills. Additionally, it is difficult to obtain data on demand because it resides in multiple places, making it unreliable. Therefore, it essential to replace the existing outed mobile application to ensure high performance and meet the needs of the business.
Identified Gaps
The information and technology department face resource constraints in terms of infrastructure and human capital. However, there are mix-ups in resource management because the IT department operates in a mixed environment infrastructure. As a result, workers are experiencing some confusion since they do not have adequate skills to handle data in a mixed environment. Once employees experience consistent complications, they become frustrated, thus depicting high turnover. Therefore, legacy systems in organizations should be separate from the IT environment.
The proposed solution will lead to desirable results in the performance of the IT department. The server room replaces the database, which is scattered, while the IP phone upgrades the existing mobile applications.
Control or Virtualization Layer
Virtualization involves the use of a Virtual Machine (VM) application, which is found in the virtual processing layer. To create a hardware layer, it is necessary to install Microsoft Hyper-V on one or more compatible hardware platforms (Olzak, Sabovik, Boomer, & Keefer, 2010). In our scenario, the virtualization layer consists of hardware and software components for E-Recruitment, E-book, E-enrollment, DWU Clinic, DSS, and MBHA Website. Employees from various machines should be allowed to access data from a specific location without complications. However, the entry of the Hyper-V into the hypervisor market will enable people to manage VM hardware requests. Nevertheless, the proposed solution will not be complicated for users since they will be able to access the type of information they demand without frustrations.
Resource Management
For effective management of resources, a server room ought to be installed in a central location or the basement of the business premises. Since the proposed changes involve an upgrade of the infrastructure, it will improve the performance of the IT department while reducing turnover. Furthermore, organizations that acquire robust IT infrastructure witness efficient operations (Jo, Maksymyuk, Strykhalyuk, & Cho, 2015). The importance of server room in resource management is that it sorts out the data centricity issue, thus unifying the scattered data.
Cloud Service Catalog
In the proposed diagram, the MAD and LAE distribution software necessitates the introduction of new technologies and the implementation of enterprise standards. However, people need to understand that the optimum cloud service catalog aims at maximizing the alignment of infrastructure capabilities with business requirements (Cisco, 2017). As a result, a competent service catalog should deliver the best value for the end-user. The proposed solution aims at ensuring an optimum service catalog, which replaces the existing mobile application with a flexible on, thus ensuring effective communication among IT systems. With organized data, employees will find it easy to access and manage data.
Labels for Each Component and their Relationships
The Modang and Lae routers are some of the related essential components in the proposed diagram. While Lae Router is crucial for employees using phones and wireless networks to access data, Modang Router allows computer users to connect with the server. The server, which should be located in a central location is essential in that ensures data centricity problem. It will lead to the consolidation of data in one place, thus providing backup in a remote area (Ghahramani, Zhou, & Hon, 2017). Besides, it guarantees people an opportunity to access data without complications. On the other hand, the MAD and LAE distribution software allows people using different devices to access the required data. The two distribution applications are cheap and provide a valid cloud service catalog. Nevertheless, the valid connection of the identified hardware and software components as portrayed in the proposed diagram will lead to the creation of a conducive IT environment for employees.
Conclusion
Subsequent to executing the suggested arrangement, the M3 credit union will have the option to achieve high performance in its IT infrastructure. Be that as it may, the high-performance IT infrastructure will be critical in supporting dynamic capabilities. Access to data will be simpler for all users, along these lines accomplishing low levels of worker turnout. Moreover, the parts of the current IT system will be updated and organized to guarantee data unwavering quality and availability. After implementing the recommended solution, the bank will be able to attain high performance in its IT infrastructure. However, the robust IT infrastructure will be crucial in supporting dynamic functions. Access to data will be easier for all workers, thus achieving low levels of worker turnout. Furthermore, the components of the existing IT system will be updated and organized to ensure data reliability and accessibility.
