Health Education Program’s needs statement.
Health education program generally is very important in the community of today as it creates awareness and enlightens people. Therefore, it calls for the entire community to broadly be enlightened of their health situations in the day-to-day activities. The community is facing multiple simple health challenges that with health education programs could be eradicated. For instance, simple cases like malaria, cholera, bilharzia etc. are communal problems that could be solved by health education programs. The main aim of our organization has been to help eradicate the spread or cause of a simple disease outbreak in the community. Similarly, as our main aim of curbing this in the recent past, there have been reported cases of deaths of people from the community due to these diseases that could be easily prevented by awareness. Therefore, we are seeking financial support to enable our organization to effectively run the health education Program to save lives. (Gilbert, Sawyer, & McNeill, 2014)
Goal 1.
To increase the awareness and role of health education and promotion of health care among the children and parents within a culturally diverse population of the community. “Walking for Life” health education program.
Objectives;
At the end of the six months for “Walking to life “ health education program, the children and parents will have acquainted themselves of the necessary roles of health education practices that enable them to be aware of possible real-life events.
Also, there would be enhanced promotion of health care among the children and parents within the community. With this promotions and awareness of good health care in the diverse cultural community, children and parents will know the dangers and immense effects of poor health conditions. This will help in minimizing multiple infections of the children and parents in the communities (Pernambuco, Carvalho, Schettino, Polese, de Souza Viana & Reis, 2018).
Goal 11.
Increases assess of individuals, group health education of children and parents, and promote their needs. “Walking for Life” health education program.
Objectives;
This will enable the organization to be able to determine and estimate the children and parents who should fall in our health program. The people in that particular community will be selected on certain perimeters to exactly know who are most affected and need help from the program.
A thorough assessment of the children and parents of the community once done, we would be able to identify their challenges from all perspectives and render appropriate assistance where possible. This will enable promote their health needs at different points parts of their settings (Pernambuco, Carvalho, Schettino, Polese, de Souza Viana & Reis, 2018).
In conclusion, the organization needs to empower and enlighten the community about good health care for the children and parents. Therefore, with the grant, we are hopeful that all programs will be effectively coordinated and executed.
