Week 3 Assignment 1 Group Project outline

For this project, you will work with colleagues to submit a one-page timeline of your group’s plan to develop a Wiki on a family issue.

Each member of the group will submit a one-page timeline of the group’s plan for developing the Wiki on a family intervention. Include the following:

· Brief description of the family

· Roles/assignments for the group members

· Communication methods

· Timeline of each part being completed, including weekly objectives and goals

Below is our groups timeline. Type a one page paper using the following information in your own words.

Description of the Family

Divorced heterosexual couple, absent mother, single father with 4 children one boy and three girls. Father was originally a stay at home father but is now working 12 hour shifts. Needs to find another job that is more flexible with hours, so that he can properly tend to his children. Father is need of childcare. Family as a whole needs therapy and counseling both individually and together. Children are feeling a number of mixed emotions between the four of them such as;  angry, upset, confused, stressed, and anxious. 

Roles/assignments for the Group Members

Each group member will be responsible for finding articles for their assigned sections. Group members will collaboratively be looking for articles in each bullet section as they come across them. The timeline below states what each person was assigned to.

Communication Methods

Summary of group plan sufficiently identifies the communication method agreed by the group. The group started a group chat to text each other reminders such as; deadlines, assigned roles, and overall have communication flowing.  The group also, started several google documents to begin to edit and revise group work. Group will later convert google document into word document and revise paper structure and format. In addition, the group decided it would be best to meet via zoom at 5PM, Pacific time.

Timeline of each part being completed, including Weekly Objectives and Goals

Each week each group member will add to google documents to ensure everyone is doing their part. This will also, ensure nobody is stuck in the end doing the sections others have not. With only having three group members and eight sections needed to be completed each group member will pick two areas they feel, she would be sufficient in. As for the references will be worked on as the sections are completed. Each group member will provide a minimum of two or three references each. 

To begin, Cassandra will create the google document, begin the format/structure of the paper, share it with group members, and make sure group members have access to document. Shakeva will then be in charge of her section which is the description of the family, scope of the issue, and engagement and assessment. Next, Cassandra will work on the literature review, advantages and disadvantages. Lastly, Chelsey- will work on the recommendations for treatment and evaluation.  

·  By the beginning of Week 4 complete sections: Description of the family & Scope of the issue.  

 Goals/objective: Each individual member will continue to work on their assigned section of the Wiki. Group members will also, continuously proofread the completed section and make corrections.

·  By the end of Week 4 beginning of week 5 - Group members will begin to collect articles and  journals for each section of the Wiki. 

 Goals/objectives: Each group member will be responsible for finding articles/journals that will contribute to their assigned section.

· By the end of Week 6 complete section: engagement and assessment / begin working on literature review & advantages and disadvantages of the intervention  

Goals/Objective: Each member will send the articles/journals they found to the group member who has been assigned the literature review. The goal for this week is to review the current completed sections and keep encouraging each other to move forward.

· By the end of Week 7 Continue working on section: advantages and disadvantages of the intervention and begin working on recommendations for treatment. 

Goals/Objectives: Group members will continue to proofread over finalized sections and add input. The goal for this week is to keep pushing forward and finish everything as scheduled.

· By the end of Week 8: The literature review and recommendations for treatment should be completed / begin working on the evaluation and properly formatting the reference list .

·  Week 9: Group members will conduct any last-minute revisions / complete final sections of the Wiki  Goals/Objectives: have each group member read over each section & hold each other accountable. The goal for this week is to finish the project strong.  

· Week 10 : Submit Final Wiki Project
