furniture, and appliances. The company partners with a variety of brands, allowing it to carer to

diverse styles, preferences, and budgets.

Primary Products and or Services

Wayfair offers an extensive online catalog of home decorations, home furnishings,

appliances and home improvement, that is centered around making an easy process for customers

to furnish and decorate their homes by purchasing online. The company also enhances the

shopping experience with features like “View in a Room,” (Wayfair, n.d.).

Three Ways Primary Stakeholders Can Influence Financial Performance.

Wayfair’s commitment to building and maintaining a culture of inclusion highlights how

stakeholders influence its success. Three key areas of this success are Customer Relationships

Employee Engagement, and Community Focus.

Customer Relationships

Customer relationships purchasing decisions directly affect Wayfair’s revenue. Quality

products, competitive pricing, and a great shopping experience encourages customer loyalty and

repeat purchases. Wayfair invests in understanding their customers to deliver exceptional

customer service (Wayfair, n.d.). In reverse, dissatisfaction of products, delayed deliveries, and

negative reviews, could decrease sales and be harmful to financial performance.

Employee Engagement

Employees are internal stakeholders that influence customer satisfaction, productivity, and

business performance. Over the past few years, Wayfair has revamped their Social Impact

Employee Program to give their employees the opportunity to harness their ideas into action.

The company also supports paid time off for volunteering and matching charitable donations to

encourage employees to give back to the communities.

Community Focus

Community focus is another important way stakeholders influence the success of Wayfair . As

external stakeholders, the community plays a vital role in shaping the company’s reputation and

long-term sustainability. Wayfair demonstrates its commitment to communities through social

impact initiatives, charitable giving, and partnerships with local organizations. These efforts help

build trust and strengthen relationships with the communities it serves. A positive community

presence can enhance brand image, attract socially conscious customers, and support long-term

financial performance. Conversely, a lack of community involvement or negative social impact

could damage the company’s reputation and weaken stakeholder trust.

Biggest Success or Missed Opportunity

4

Wayfair’s biggest success comes from being able to develop a network that dominates

the online home goods market by partnering with a wide range of brands, eliminating the need to

own inventory. This model allows the company to offer millions of products that varies in style

and price point providing customers with extensive options and convenience.

Impact on the Company’s Performance

One significant impact on the company’s performance has been their investment in technology,

such as the visualization tools and personalized recommendations. These efforts have

strengthened the customer shopping experience by creating a sense of realism.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Wayfair’s relationship with their stakeholders have influence on the

company’s success and performance. Their focus on customer relationships, employee

engagement and community focus prioritize company growth and stakeholders. Innovative

technology measures have lined the company up as a leader in the online home goods market.

Ultimately the company’s continued success will depend on their ability to continually

balance growth while continue to foster strong relationships with their key stakeholders.
