What is your overall evaluation of the potential for Jordano Foods in this new relationship with SAB? Explain your position.

· Jordano has a strong potential for growth with this new relationship with SAB, any step taken for the improvement, will benefit both the parties

· Jordano foods has been getting good responses & sales due to their unique traditional recipes, so collaborating with SAB will allow them to reach out to a larger customer base as SAB has a strong distribution channel and intends to grow further

· With Ms Tracie coming into the picture, the one function that was not given much of an importance will be attended to, and will result in economies of scale

· Since SAB will increase their customer base by improving their operations, even Jordano will acquire more customers

· It’s better for SAB also to try and expand their horizons and improve their operations than to merge with another food distributor as it will be give them an opportunity to grow without being bound by the merger

· It’s a win win situation for both the parties

Explain your position. What areas of logistics do you think have the most potential for Jordano and SAB to collaborate for the benefit of SAB's customers? Why?

· Jordano already having their victory over their product base, will enable them to have a more efficient customer service after acquisition of new customer base through SAB

· SAB can confidently sell Jordano’s products to their customers based on the past responses to Jordano’s product sales

· The new collaboration will help SAB to lower their costs as they will scale up the distribution

· SAB intends to improve their productivity through new horizons, and Jordano’s logistics will be improved by Ms Tracie, it will lead to the area of higher productivity & efficiency

· SAB along with Jordano can enter the digital space to sell & market the products, as it will allow them to reach an untapped market

Explain your position. What areas of logistics do you think have the most potential for Jordano and SAB to collaborate for the benefit of SAB's customers? Why?

I think the Customer service (marketing) area with improving warehouse efficiency and making order fulfillment in quick time is very crucial, as one of the Jordan company competitive advantages is marketing. In marketing 4 Ps of product, price, place, promotion play important roles in logistics. Better performance in managing price which is consisting of shipment pricing, inventory size, volume discounts can reduce cost dramatically, product with better packaging quality can provide better customer service and profit. The location such as wholesalers and retailers can significantly impact the distribution channel to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Promotion is also important for informing and empowering the customers and increasing the number of sales and overall making more profit.
