Re: Topic 2 DQ 1
Tamika, Thanks for your contribution. You presented a good analysis on the issue of separation of church and state. You observed that "In regimes where the religion gets braided with the environment, there is frequently a requirement to clear instructions with the congregation before they can get performed."
To push the discussion further, do you think the practice of democracy can thrive in the United States without the separation of church of state?
Re: Topic 2 DQ 1
Hello everyone,
I believe that Religious disestablishment in America does come with some benefits, for example, the main one being allowing us to practice any form of religion we choose to. We don't have set laws that we all have to worship and follow the same religion, which gives every individual a eight that many other countries do not have. however it also comes with its drawbacks. I believe that a one of the main drawbacks from this is that although we are free to choose which religion to practice in, this adds a lot of different religions to be around and some people dislike the fact that someone else doesn't follow the same religion which can then turn into personal attacks and turn into something negative. These are all my opinions, i hope to get some feedback on everyone else's thoughts,
