“Jordan is better; No Lebron is better my guy.” They both argued till their face was blue, so much they were beating a dead horse. “Jordan played with the flu,” he ricocheted off his friend who had said “Lebron plays through cramps.” Pffft, replied Michael. “Bro, Jordan always got buckets and ‘ships,” as James laughed it off “Well Lebron makes more dough.” To me this a sign of an informal argument, using a more relaxed and natural language. A formal argument opponent recognizes in and respect each other’s position, rather than attack or criticize the other. In a formal argument you must have logical steps that assert, support and defend claims. In order to persuade a new position or a different perception. The challenges I may face while writing my paper, can be over information, lack of truth from the information I receive. I think it’s important for me to stay on track and not derail since the subject I’ve chosen can take me many places. My is plan is to get has much information possible an forming a link to bring everything together. Why does a poor person have to have a link to bad health? Is it their culture, the environment they are raised in or is it an ethnicity thing?
