When looking at the many basic tasks of human resource management, there are several

basic tasks that can be chosen. In the article by Burley (2017), two specific tasks that human

resource professionals might be required to conduct including the hiring process, which

includes recruiting and training employees to ensure their development. Each task is

substantially important to effective human resources of an organization.

The basic task of training and development is an important one that will be addressed

specifically here. In reviewing of training and developing an employee, business owners

should take time to invest in training their employees and developing employee skill set. This

helps to equip employees with the capability to carry out important tasks for a business

effectively. An example of this might be offering a training seminar on customer service to

ensure that employees provide excellence in customer service for the business.

In consideration of the second question, there are five types of legal business ownership.

As noted by Hudson (2016), the five types of legal business ownership are sole

proprietorship, general partnership, limited liability partnership, and a limited liability

corporation. In this case, the best option out of the five types of legal business ownership best

that would fit well for my business would be sole proprietorship. I want to retain full

ownership, responsibility and decision-making for my business. Hudson (2016) also

explained of this type of structure, “The benefit of a sole proprietor is the tax regulations and

savings.” (para. 3). This might change at a later time, but at this time, I would begin with the
