Statement of Ethics

In a world full of critics, be an encourager and lift the morale of society. I am, what I am today because of my passion and commitment of well-being of the people around me.

I always had a soft corner in my heart to work for the betterment of my society and I shaped my career this way. I didn’t choose this field accidentally rather worked for it, so I can put my share in society through collective efforts that can maximize movement and functions of all people. Helping helpless people is my goal because that makes me satisfied. I forget myself when I am at work because this isn’t just a job but a commitment to serve humanity. My deep understanding of injuries, effective communication and commitment to person centered care helped me to stable in this field. My past experience of wide spectrum of clients as an intern helped me grasped on field technicalities, clinical knowledge.

I met with many reputable physiotherapists in this regard who assisted and the exposure I got was not less than a blessing for me. One of the physiotherapists inspired me through his ideologies of the welfare of people and motivated me one or another way. We used to meet on lunch break, discuss complex cases of patients and he used to highlight the technicalities through his experiences and knowledge. I learnt a lot in his mentorship, and he was the one who cemented my beliefs of humanity. While choosing this field I had so many things in my mind starting from high demand of this field and handsome money but when I stepped in this field and started an internship then my priorities went forward.

I can’t forget to mention a lady who was hospitalized for two weeks and was in supervision. Before discharge, she came to me and hugged me with tears in her eyes and said, “I wish I had a son like you.” Her generous gesture made me feel like a real hero and from then I made my mind to work with more passion.

My ideology of this profession is based on ethical and moral grounds, and I believe these high grounds are the real essence of my field. After degree, you need to have a compassionate heart only then can work efficiently and win the hearts of patients.
