Read Case Study 12-27 "Stingy Upstate University" (Process Maps, Decision Tables, and Decision Trees) on pages 395-396 in Core Concepts of Accounting Information Systems. PLEASE NOTE: The link under the Case Study textbook reading, opens to Case Study 12-26 -- you will need to scroll down to get to Case Study 12-27. Make sure you are completing the correct assignment.

Complete the items identified for questions 1 to 3.

Write a 45- to 175-word response each to questions 4 and 5 following the case study.

NOTE: For the process map, refer to Figure 12-13 on page 375 of the textbook. For the Decision Table, refer to Figure 12-16 on page 379 and for the Decision Tree, refer to Figure 12-17 on page 380. Your diagrams should be similar with all the detailed information of the case study. Each diagram needs to reflect the same details and format but with the case study information using the correct symbols. Microsoft Word is the preferred software to use in creating the diagrams since it has all the shapes and lines needed. Be sure to use the textbook formats and correct shapes/symbols for the three diagrams.

NOTE: The three diagrams need to be your own work, not copied from the Internet or other source. The purpose of the assignment is for you to learn how to create process maps, decision tables, and decision trees on the computer so no manual (handwritten) diagrams accepted. The textbook gives examples (as stated above) so you have a guide in creating your own diagrams. Points will be deducted if copied.
