Global Leader Video Analysis

The resources for this week have explored the wide range of competencies that help determine the success of global leaders, as well as how leaders acquire these competencies. Learning how to identify these competencies in others and practicing them, allows individuals to become comfortable in diverse cultural situations. In this written assignment, you will have the opportunity to explore how to identify and master these competencies.

Identify an audio or video clip of a leader exhibiting a specific intercultural leadership competency.

Make sure to include the name of the leader and the URL of the clip in your assignment.

Define and expand upon the competency that you have identified and explain how you see this displayed by the leader throughout the video.

After observing this leader, consider the following scenario in which you will explore how to master the competency and train others to do likewise: You have been asked to create a global leaders’ development program to assure individuals representing the company will understand the basic skills necessary to confidently interact with a variety of different foreign associates.

Present the highlights of your program. How would you train your organization’s key personnel?

Describe how the training you have developed fits into this model. Your complete assignment should be 3-4 pages, excluding title page and reference section.

This assignment should be written in essay format and adhere to proper APA guidelines.
