Coca-cola company uses a wide range of data to facilitate its production strategies. It applies data analysis is various activities such as:
Development of products- Coca-cola carries out extensive research to collect data that is adequate to be used by the company to get insights that aid in improving the quality of their products. For instance, the company used the data that was gathered from self-service fountains of soft drinks where drinks were mixed. They used this data to analyze the most popular combination and launched readymade drinks and vending machines.
Provision of healthy options- Coca-cola uses data analysis to find out some of the healthy variety that they can provide to their market. This information helped them to come up with drinks such as orange juice under companies like Minute Maid and Simply Orange. The company additionally uses information gathered on weather, crop production, and satellite to ensure that the oranges are produced optimally to maintain their taste.
Social data mining- Coca-cola has a wide base of followers in their social media platforms. They use these platforms to gather information on the popularity of their products across the world. This enables them to know the markets they can target, their consumers, and where they need to talk about their drinks. This helps them to formulate appropriate marketing strategies and ads.
To obtain information- Coca Cola uses the analyzed information to gather data on the best solutions and equipment that can be used by their technicians to solve some of the technical problems experienced by the company, they also look into the issues that might be affecting vending machines and dispensers in remote areas such as ships sailing.

For instance, the company came up with cherry sprite after finding out their customers preferred the flavors. They were able to come up with this from the use of artificial intelligence to analyze the same.
The social media- social media is another source of information for Coca Cola. They use these platforms to get feedback regarding their customers and emit appropriate information that does not offend anyone. Most consumers base their purchasing decisions on the information they get from these platforms hence Coca Cola analyzes these platforms to find out what information people are attaching to their photos through computer vision.
Google analytics- Coca-cola uses google analytics to gather information on audiences who have accessed their websites to seek information. This information is used to track the history and patterns of individuals of interest which is used to predict the behavior of these customers. The company uses Siri to seek the requests of customers which are then investigated and interpreted to come up with an analysis of consumer preferences.

Coca-cola advertising records show that the company is the most popular producers of soft drinks. The use of a common logo, designs, and brand image has expanded its international popularity. The company advertises through various channels after analyzing their data. Some of their target markets get the information via the social media where the company has over 7 million followers, marketing directly to consumers, web-based media where their ads are added to customers who have seemed interested in the same, and promotions. From the analysis of the target market, the optimum customers can be obtained if the marketing strategies are used accordingly. For direct marketing, exclusive partnerships with other companies like hotels and movie theatres help minimize competition since these companies only sell products from Coca Cola. They reduce competition when they attain sale rights and sales opportunities to important customers.
Another marketing strategy is the use of viral marketing strategy whereby the company advertises directly to customers via mobile phones. The company uses Web and social media to advertise as well. They have over 80 million people who follow their respective pages. They provide similar advertising information to their target audience regarding new products, improvements, interactions online to know the preferences of customers and events irrespective of whether they are cultural, sporting, or social. They also use promotions and retail mobile advertising, sale coolers points, and vending machines with their bright and conspicuous logo. The company’s soft drinks are also used as a supplement during certain meals like fries and burgers hence used as a strategy to improve sales.
Describe the anticipated results and what they mean for the organization
The various forms of advertising techniques used by Coca Cola are used to ensure that the appropriate target market is reached using the most appropriate form of advertising. Using the direct form of advertising such as the mobile phone will enable a business to get their potential customers to choose their products and services. Using the social media ways of advertising issued by the business to ensure that the business obtains customers especially the young audience who celebrates most events using soft drinks and later post about it to the general public. This form of advertising is targeted at young people. This would mean that the company will be able to reach its young audience who mainly engage in social media activities. Having a young post about the good time they are having while taking Coca Cola products is a good way of advertising soda as a beverage of good times. Using the web to advertise is a good way the company can increase its market based on the characteristics of the market. Webs can predict the age, gender, and interests of an individual who visits their site and hence improving their knowledge about their consumers. Knowing about their consumer’s preferences enables them to produce products that are designed to meet the needs of the consumers and hence improved the quality of their products. This might increase the profitability of the business due to improved customer loyalty. Promotions would mean that the organization would boost the loyalty of their customers who win prices based on what they have been promoted on.
