Apple is one of the companies that have performed exemplary well in manufacturing
quality electronic products such as computers, smartphones, and tablet computers, among other
products. It must be known that; apple company is the largest technology-oriented company by
revenue. As of June 2021, financial stats Apple’s financial status in terms of revenue was at
US$365.8 billion. Besides being one of the biggest technologies based, it is also good to note
that Apple is the world's biggest company by capitalization. It is ranked the fourth largest
computer manufacturer by unit sales and the second largest mobile phone manufacturer. Apple's
success can be attributed to many business-related factors. The primary factors among these are
its strategic vision which extended its services from the manufacturing of simple computers to
include other services and products, such as the manufacture of mobile devices and a wide range
of wearable gadgets Abdukarimova, 2021). Apple uses a differentiation strategy to steer its
business and propel the company toward its vision, mission, and objectives. The strategy
mentioned above has seen the company succeed in its endeavors. It reduces price competition,
ensures that it produces and presents unique products and services, maintains its consumer brand
loyalty, and perhaps increases its profit margins. With reference to the question, this report will
provide more insights into apple company’s environmental analysis by considering economic,
social, cultural, political, legal, regulatory, and trade-related factors. This report will also identify
appropriate in one of the regions, such as Africa middle east, and Latin America, along with the
rationale for considering this country as the best apple company to consider expanding its
services to.
In my case, based on the previous assignment in BUS621, I selected the Czech Republic
as the possible country for Walmart to invest in. The political environment is a significant
factor in any business decision. The government regulates many aspects of business activity. In
order to expand into the Czech market, Walmart will have to navigate certain regulatory
restrictions. The first restriction is high tariffs that are imposed on foreign companies. The tariffs
will increase the cost of production since the importation of Walmart’s raw materials will be
imposed taxes which will increase the prices of the final product. The political interest will tend
to protect the local companies over the foreign companies.
The economic environment is also essential when considering whether to invest in a
new market. The Czech Republic has a relatively low GDP per capita compared with other EU
states, and its economy relies heavily on exports. Foreign direct investment (FDI) is considered
an essential factor for growth at this stage of development because it contributes to job creation
and innovation within an economy. The Czech Republic has approximately 10 million citizens,
creating a large Walmart Company market (Yakubovskiy, Rodionova & Derkach, 2019). Since
the population requires goods and services, the company must produce enough products to
satisfy unlimited wants. However, since the country has a low GDP, Walmart may have to sell its
products at relatively low prices to attract customers, which might negatively impact its revenue.
Apple company uses a wide range of integrated marketing communication channels for
its current iPhone products. The primary focus of integrated marketing communication is to
enable apple to reach as many customers as possible. This will, in turn, allow the company to
increase its sales volume. Apple deploys both promotional and advertising strategies to draw the
attention of its target audience m interest and desire (Juska, 2021). It posts sleek images of its
iPhone products to attract many customers. In addition to that, apple company also uses print and
broadcast to sell its iPhone to a wide range of clients. As mentioned above, apple uses several
prints and broadcast media for marketing its products. For example, to market its iPhone product,
it uses b uses television and fashion magazines to display interesting facts about the superiority
of its iPhone product. The examples of images provided below were obtained from one of the
fashion magazines used by apple company as a selling and marketing campaign.
