Good evening Kathy, recognizing that nursing theory promotes the leadership abilities and autonomy responsibilities for the nurse practitioner is a major milestone for the nursing culture and the advocacy of all nurses in history that fight for the betterment of nurses worldwide. Nurses are the catalysts for patient outcomes, advances in medicine and strides in quality patient care through our patient advocacy, nurse advocacy and demands for legislation at the advance practice registered nurses level and beyond.       In one case study there was a review on how the nearest practitioner applied her experience in respiratory care to the dilemma a patient was facing with exacerbations of asthma that were curling frequently. She found a way to use her theoretical knowledge and evidence based practice to align this patient’s outcome with the self deficit theory and nursing encouraging involvement of case management as an interdisciplinary factor. This is nursing theory at work and a conclusion was the patient through education and application and intervention was able to be managed More efficiently With their asthma through the nurse practitioners chosen nursing theory. ( Yip, 2021)
