Global Remarketing Plan Proposal
The skincare industry has grown drastically in the last few years with new products and companies emerging globally. According to CNN, skincare products grew an astounding 13% in the United States market with a sales margin of $5.6 billion dollars in 2018 (Garcia, 2019). To stay relevant in a growing market, Ole Henriksen must continue to find innovative ways to market products to existing and new consumers.
Ole Henriksen Natural Skincare was founded by its Danish born namesake. At a young age, Ole ventured to Jakarta, Indonesia where he discovered his passion for natural and botanical skincare. Ole began his skincare journey by studying at the Christine Shaw College of Beauty in London and debuted his first skincare line in 1983. With his successful business growing, he decided to move to Hollywood, CA where he quickly became a celebrity skincare guru. He partnered with Sephora in 2005 where his skincare products were made available beyond his Hollywood, CA customer base (About the Band, n.d.).
Remarketing Strategy
Ole Henriksen must adapt to and implement modern marketing strategies. Seeking a global brand ambassador to be the face of the brand is one of the successful modern strategies that can implemented (Harrison, 2017). Additionally, continue to leverage the power of social media by creating relevant content to promote the brand (Lewnes & Keller, 2019). Another strategy is to extend product sale availability in stores like Ulta Beauty, Boots in Europe and Takashimaya stores in Asia. Finally, to stay true to its all-natural product form, Ole Henriksen must stay earth conscious its continued use of recyclable materials and by creating new product packing aimed to reduce waste.
