Let's talk about a topic that affects us all: food quality. We hear about recalls of products for mislabeling or contamination. Something went wrong along the food supply chain which left consumers with a defective product.

Week 1 Discussion Post

Based on the resources provided and your research, share information about a recent food product recall. Do a quick internet search to see if the company or food type has had other recent recalls. (Recent Research Support Required)

This post should be 1-2 paragraphs in length (at least 100 words).  Since you are engaging in research,  cite in the body of the post and  add a reference list in APA format. NOTE: failure to use research with  accompanying in-text citations to support content will result in reduced scoring "Level 2-Developing" on the grading rubric.

Select a food recall described by your classmate. Analyze the situation to assess what can be done in the future so the situation will not reoccur. 

The reply should be one paragraph in length (or about 50 words) and must be substantive. Do not simply say "I agree" or "That is great." Specify why and be detailed in your explanation. You may use research in your response, but it is not required.
