Presenting Research Findings & Publishing Research Results
There are several options in regarding to the dissemination of a research findings. Nowadays the possibilities include the hard copies, online professional websites, and specialized forums. However, there is a common standpoint in relation to the professionalism, quality, and assertiveness regarding to the design of the presentation. With more accessibility to resources (digital, in technologies, and media), there is not chance to generate something that cannot be able to integrate in an appealing visual form an effective presentation. Just considering that to take attention in the finding, it is necessary to demonstrate the seriousness of the people involved in the process of presenting the results.
One alternative is through the conference in any level or setting. Nevertheless, the presentation of a conference also conveys with the analysis of the audience, the location, timing, and opportunity (Tappen, 2016). Another option is the poster presentation which can be displayed also in certain types of conferences. The main advantage of the poster is about the summary where all to be presented is displayed in the banner. Then, the remaining type for the exposition is for the process of delivering questions and answers. For the posters, the TIMRAD methodology which serves as a guide to condense the data and information. Similarly, in combination with poster, the use of graph may be necessary for reinforce specific significance of values. Nevertheless, it is important also to accomplish the guidelines for poster presentations such as the use of fonts, sizes, and distribution.
A third method for presenting the findings is the podium presentation which implies a complete dominium of the research as well as the abilities to delivering a speech. Still, it is necessary to ensure the organization of the information with the purpose of convincing the audience about the findings in a professional form. Following some rules during the speaking would ease the process of confronting an audience that can find based on the exposition, interesting or no, the topic. Here, the presentation in conjunction with supporting images and graphs would serve the move the flow of the presentation and take the attention of the audience.
In the case of the actual research, the topic and nature of the investigation is more related to a formal presentation rather than a defense. One critical point is the assumption of the simulation of the final results. In any case, there would be reported to the groups of interests and the general public with the idea to take attention of a health issues that has been ignored within the Latin communities. Moreover, it represents an interesting point the publication of the research and other in the same topic in any professional journal to create the stimuli for posterior investigation in the topic (Bekker & Clark, 2018). In addition, the remission to specialized journals can derive in the composition of new working groups and researches for the continuity within the same community. At the end, the core purpose of any research and the corresponding finding is the implementation into the practice of the results, becoming in a responsibility of the researchers to expand in the scientific community such contributions.

I have found six suggestions that I would like to share about disseminating my research findings. The first one is that one should know one's goal and know your audience; when one plans to communicate about your research findings, one should consider the end user. The moment one understands the audience, one can develop ways to speak to the audience. The second one is collaborating with others it can help improves one’s skills. The third one is made a plan by being able to simplify your research into a more readable summary. The fourth one is to embrace plain language in your research papers as it will help everyone to understand. The fifth one is Link and layer; define several ways in which you can advertise your research. The sixth one is evaluating your work one can measure this by finding the impact of your knowledge. I will be able to measure the impact of my work through surveys.
In presenting your research findings, I will first show my research problem, and then give my knowledge on previous research that I conducted, and finally, I will explain the methods that I propose to use and justify the ways that I choose (Tappen, 2015). The primary purpose for publishing a research finding is to give the results of the findings. Publishing also entails giving to the audience about new ideas that emerged or technology. The responsibility of publishing is to inform individuals who are not familiar enough with specific fields to understand the importance of the research findings. Also, it allows identifying certain arrears that were not researched and gave recommendations on what future research needs.

Presenting your research findings whether in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, poster presentation at a conference, or journal publication is a crucial step in disseminating information to the public, an important step in scientific process. The first thing to note is that the reviewer or audience may not be familiar with scientific diction or the topic, therefore, the investigator should make their poster presentation easy to read and understand. To prepare for a presentation, the first step I would take is to outline the most important information of my findings. For a PowerPoint Presentation I would follow the following structure: Title, Outline, Introduction/Background, Methods, Results, Analysis, Discussion/Conclusion, Questions, & References. Similarly, for a Poster Presentation or Journal publication I would include Introduction/Background, Methods, Results, Analysis, Discussion/Conclusion, & References. A suggestion I have regarding poster presentations and publications is to look at their Conference/Journal policies as the poster size/format and article length/requirements may differ per conference and journal. Another important suggestion that I would take is to present your findings before the big event to get some feedback from those who may or may not have knowledge in the topic to see where some confusion may arise. If someone is not available, I highly suggest you video record yourself and what the playback recording to observe how you did and see where there is room for improvement. Additionally, a tip I have for creating an effective title is to create one sentence that describes your research which can serve as a title. “For example: A Qualitative Analysis to Assess the Impact COVID-19 Had on Stress Levels of Healthcare Workers in Miami, Florida.” Lastly, whether you are presenting or publishing, it is important to analyze any feedback given because in the end it will help you become a better researcher and you will learn lessons that you can apply to your future studies.
