The hunting ability of the homo genus that differentiates them from other fossils was their drawing ability. They were able to draw vivid images on rocks and caves walls. They were able to use the thrusting spear to kill their prey, unlike other fossils. They had a larger brain capacity that allowed them to hear and articulate speech (Sánchez, 2019).
The homo genus used tree trunks to make columns, and the branches were used as beams, and leaves were used to make the roofs. This was the technique used by the homo genus when it comes to building shelters. They mostly left in trees, but fossils suggest that they had begun to walk in upright postures, and therefore this indicates that some were living partially on the ground (Sánchez, 2019).
The homo genus buried their dead in caves constructed in an area that seemed to be their gravesite. Tools, flowers, and some artifacts were found around the gravesite. This shows that the homo genus practiced burial rituals and believes (Sánchez, 2019).
