Critical Thinking

In week one, I define Critical Thinking as the ability to reason about what I should do and

what I should believe. I would not consider changing my definition from my week one journal.

By thinking critically, I should understand the logical connections between ideas, solve problems

systematically, reflect on the justification of one's own beliefs. Critical thinking is different from

knowing a lot of information as it is concerned with how the data should be processed. A critical

thinker can deduce that information into a logical and systematic conclusion. I think by

considering all the facts before jumping to conclusions. Evaluate and think systematically of

logical connections between causes and consequences.

Heart of the Matter

In week one of my journal entry, the textbook defined the phrase's heart of the matter as

the book's main topic, because all three chapters summarize the meaning of the book's name and

help people to think critically. Consciousness, as some authors put it, is constantly being aware

of something. Other writers argue that you can't talk about philosophy without first discussing

reality. When combined with the contents produced in the chapters, all these perspectives point

to the importance of any concept essential for the success of critical thinking in the sense that it

provides a foundation for ongoing mental introspection and exercise.

Ethical Decision-Making

Yes, I concur. If we assign ethical value to arguments, we would like to do actions in the

best manner we can because we would like to be upright to preserve concord in men's activities

and contribute to everyday happiness. Ethics is necessary as a critical component of right action.

The link between ethics is simple to comprehend. As a result, every argument's proposal must

include an ethical burden. Is there anything more helpful to a guy than attempting to give ethical

and fair arguments to others? Undoubtedly, ethics is a globally primary demand in every

individual who defends his stance to pursue justice and equality for all.

Looking Forward

No, I do not think I know everything I need to know about critical thinking. Currently, I

don't have all the answers when it comes to critical thinking. It appears to me that this is a duty

that must be completed throughout one's life. There will always be fresh ideas in its

formulations, interpretation, and field of analysis, irrespective of whether we can establish a

technical base and experience learning and applying critical thinking. I don't think it's possible to

learn to think in an ultimate and final way critically. Critical thinking, in my opinion, is a

recommendation for ongoing mental practice.
