Module 2 | Part 2: Strategies to Promote Academic Integrity and Professional Ethics

I have analyzed the relationship between academic integrity and writing, as well as the relationship between professional practices and scholarly ethics. I have also identified strategies I intend to pursue to maintain integrity and ethics of my academic work while a student of the MSN program, as well as my professional work as a nurse throughout my career. The results of these efforts are shared below.

Part 1: Writing Sample: The Connection Between Academic and Professional Integrity

In the space below write a 2- 3-paragraph analysis that includes the following:

· Explanation for the relationship between academic integrity and writing

For nontraditional learners or students, the relationship that exists between writing and academic integration can help in transforming it into an ideal platform for them. It has helped the learners in efforts to have their goals achieved and also reducing the daily struggles and also dealing with the obstacles. When it comes to academic integrity, there are elements of honesty that must be adhered to by all the institutions that deal with academics (Aitchison & Mowbray, 2015). The education institutions are usually guided by academic integrity, which is used to evaluate the values and status that is known to be a tool for guiding them. Academic integrity tries to look into plagiarism matters, and it should be avoided at all costs. Still, accredited articles that are scholarly must be used when doing researched but in a paraphrased or own words. It is essential to discuss the topic, especially when it comes to academic writing and academic integrity. Via the use of the internet, writing today has become frivolous; hence a lot of work has plagiarism elements without having the correct citation .itis true to say that academic integrity is an essential value in learning institutions.

· Explanation for the relationship between professional practices and scholarly ethics

· When it comes to the relationship between scholarly ethics and professional practices, The ANA has defined ethics in their phrase. It has been defined as the formal mortality analysis from various perspectives, including the logical, semantic, normative, epistemology, and analytical (Sutherland-Smith, 2008). According to the American Nursing association or ANA, mortality is about the human beliefs, behaviors, and character present in a culture or society. The writer's ideas and research are captured in the scholarly writing and reading by coming across many articles. When it comes to professionalism, there is the adherence to the skills and the expectations that have been implemented (Anef Texas Tech University Health Science Center Texas Sharon Cannon et al., 2014). There is adherence to the code of conduct when working in a particular institution. When dealing with patients, nurses put I to practice their roles, and they directly involve ethics in academics.They are known to be among the professionals with the highest ethical considerations to provide the most secure care to patients. There is the use of evidence-based research by nurses and solutions cannot be found with visiting non-scholarly articles.

It has been of much help and assistance to the graduates in attempts to have their work evaluated before having to submit the needed assignment (Sutherland-Smith, 2008).it has been helping improving the writing skills of the students, and Grammarly has been assisting in correcting grammatical errs while the safe-assign has been identifying the plagiarism element. Learners can now rephrase and redo their sentences structure curtesy of the safe assign and Grammarly an in academic writing. These skills are essential. The skills are critical by limiting the chances of having plagiarized work and can be detected by Turnitin.

PART 2: Strategies for Maintaining Integrity of Work

Expand on your thoughts from Part 1 by:

Identifying and describing strategies you intend to pursue to maintain integrity and ethics of your 1) academic work while a student of the MSN program, and 2) professional work as a nurse throughout your career. Include a review of resources and approaches you propose to use as a student and a professional.

In academic work, it is vital that, as a graduate, I maintain integrity and ethics when it comes to academic work since one is knowledgeable. Paraphrasing can be used when writing as an essential skill, and also, the correct citation is needed in academic work ( Annual review of nursing education, volume 2, 2019). I aspire to graduate and use Grammarly, Turnitin, safe-assign, and paraphrasing to improve my writing skills. Via the use of the named tools, I can check on the body of my work and correct the grammar (Anef Texas Tech University Health Science Center Texas Sharon Cannon et al., 2014). As a nurse, I will be able to put into use the evidence-based research on the ethics of the nurses' outlines and provide the best care to the patients and continuity. Other sources like the Walden library and google can improve the services and information that is rendered pertinent for a patient. Nurses should advocate for the patient to allow communication, empathy, and honesty not to be compromised.

Module 3 | Part 3: Research Analysis

I have identified one topic of interest for further study. I have researched and identified one peer-reviewed research article focused on this topic and have analyzed this article. The results of these efforts are shared below.
