Introduction

ABC organization is one of the leading IT industry in USA which was started their services in 2003. Organization used to develop software products for different kind of customers like sports, music concerts by providing quality of services. Not only to the customers, organization is providing good work environment to the employees and helps to improve their knowledge. The main technologies used to develop software components are Java, .Net, web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), Android, iOS, Database technologies. There are around 120 employees in the ABC organization (Diffily, 2006).

This organization also sells tickets for different sports conducted across the USA and different music concerts. All the ticket selling process will be take place through web only. User can check how many seats available, and price for each ticket and place all these kinds of information will be shown by using organization website only. The website should attract users with its content like information in the form of graphic designs, images.

The current website of the organization is compatible only with desktops. Nowadays everyone is using smart devices, so that users can’t access website through devices. The final aim of this research is to modify the existed website of the ABC organization. The proposed website should work for all kind of smart devices like mobiles, iPods etc. One more Drawback of current system is when all the users were browsing at same time website is becoming slow and information not showing immediately. For this I want to make new enhancement that is managing content of the website, by modifying already existed WebPages (Daffily, 2006).

Web development means creating a new website to an organization or making changes by adding new features to the existed system. The content on the website is of two kinds one is static and another one is dynamic. To develop static content HTML, CSS technologies were used. Whenever the user makes an activity on the website by entering some input the content is shown from the server, for this scripting technology like java script will be used (Daffily, 2006).

The webpage should change content display according to the device sizes which also is known as responsive web design. For development part I am planning to follow W3schools to learn HTML and CSS concepts and develop good WebPages for website. In final performance is the key factor which decides organization profits and success. Before starting development of any website factors like user experience and website design and data access should be considered. The website should be designed in a way that many users were accessing then there should not be any interruption (Daffily, 2006).

Methodology

Every organization success depends on good research process. There are two types of researches done, one is action research and other one is traditional research. In action research people will communicate with others who are doing the research. In traditional research people will do research on others who are doing research. Action research is the process of research which can solve problem of current system or process of step by step research which includes research process and action after action analysis process (McKernan ,1991).

The action process is the combination of developing system and implementation of a plan which is identified. The research process gives idea of action and plan which is considered to develop. Initially the problem will be identified and suitable action will be done, after that reflection is performed. If the process is failed then all these steps will be repeated till the problem is solved. The developing people always consider the people who are using the new system. If the system is not good the end users only affected, so while doing action research people who are performing action research always consider final users (McIntyre, 2008).

In this competitive world, organization should stand and give better outputs than other organizations. To overcome competition from others, organization must do frequent research on their projects. The research will decide what actions should take on the current project. By using these actions proper enhancements will be done to the existed system functionalities. The action research process will be done in different phases by completing each phase one after the other (McKernan ,1991).

Action Research Process Phases

Action research process will be performed at different phases. The main steps involved in this process are planning, action, observation, reflection.

Planning Phase:Planning is the initial phase of the action research process. To overcome the problems of the existed system plan will be done. This plan is made by considering the things like requirements, and design and what are the actions to be implemented, and who are involving in implementation process (O'Brien, 2001).

Action Phase: In this phase, according to the plan all the actions will be done. Development of the new system is done to overcome the problems (Boog, 1996).

Observation Phase: After developing new code observation is done, all the actions were observed how they were done (Boog, 1996).

Reflection Phase: Once the three phases were completed, then the developed product functionality is tested. If it is not working according to the plan, then the whole process will be repeated until the final output is done which fulfills the plan (O'Brien, 2001).

Action Research Principles in IT organization

· In an organization action research is performed on the existed application or the new application which should be developed (McTaggert ,1992).

· Action research is a circular process which will be performed repeatedly until getting the result.

· Action research will consider the opinion of end users, who are mostly affected by the actions performed in this process (McTaggert ,1992).

· Every employee of the organization who are involving in action research process should have clear idea about what they were doing, and should discuss with each member of the team about the thoughts while performing research (Mertler, 2011).

Use of Action Research

By using action research, the current problems of the organization will be solved. The main aim of my project is developing website which is compatible with all devices and loading data without delay. All phases of action research planning, action, observe, reflection will be helpful to develop the website and improve its performance. At each phase of action research process the proposed website will modified by considering end user satisfaction. Action research will help all the employees of the organization, to know what are the modifications needed to the current system. With this process, all the employees will get a chance to communicate with all the team members and improve their knowledge by sharing with each other.

Literature Review

Introduction to Web Development

This chapter discusses the literature re-review in the discipline of web development; responding to a conducted action research at the ABC IT company, based in the US. This literature evaluation is with the aim of presenting research in a concise and informative approach. Because of advancement in website technologies, and consumer embracement, web development has evolved significantly from static and simplified sites to more dynamic and multi-media pages; with the capacity of interacting with users in a sophisticated manner.

The field of web development is always changing and highly sensitive to the needs and expectations of a modern website client. Web development procedures should apply a user-centered design that strives to meet market expectations; it has to harmonize the purpose, design structure, and interface with client's needs. ABC Corporation being an active web developer in various online business operations has carried out an action research on the development process to provide solutions for any emerging issues. The firm's aim is establishing a design that considers satisfaction, legibility, visibility and design language in the development procedure; this is according the company's CEO (Zanella et. al, 2014).

Several other types of research performed in the past confirm that a development approach should consider primary attributes of the user; which include gender, location, age, and level of education. To define the planned website's audience, the individual action research; it is an essential pillar of success in a analyzing a procedural design process (Zanella et. al, 2014).

According to Völter et. al. (2013), the concept of web design and implementation is extensive and versatile; therefore, challenging to determine standard specifications that are favorable to both users and developers. Controlling web page quality from the point of a developer requires comprehension of crucial factors including the hosting server, script language applied at the server, and client-end issues (Völter et. al., 2013). The elements to consider on the user's platform are browser compatibility, site design, and coding. On the other hand, viewing web page quality from a user's perspective focuses more on usability, legibility, and satisfaction. The quality of content is another key aspect that prompts the client to access information from reputable sites only.

Prevailing Trend of Web Development

The web designing process in the recent past has been exponentially progressive; the growth of user base is instrumental to the tremendous changes experienced in the sector. The development of website and registration of domain name are multifold, and the advancements get facilitated by the high availability of website development tools and free development platforms. The most common one is the LAMP which denotes: Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP stack; usually disturbed with any cost incurred. Another significant factor contributing to the high growth is the increased ease of the use of WYSIWYG web development application; standing for" What You See Is What You Get." The most prominent software applicable includes Microsoft Expression Studio and Adobe Dreamweaver; virtually, any individuals able to design a page with little or no knowledge of HTML (Richey & Klein, 2014).

Websites have developed from structures with simple images and precise text information; streaming of audio and video content on websites is becoming a common practice. For professional purposes, media blocks appear on web pages to give it a more functional, vibrant, and typical. Richey & Klein (2014), Flash technology is accessible for incorporating animated graphic representation with a distinct nature; the content gets enhanced by the introduction of sound and visual effects. The only problem with style is the unfriendliness and limited use with search engines. The rapid advancement in the information technology has led to the invention of relatively larger computer screens that have a high resolution; in response, the website has adjusted to accommodate the large displays (Paganelli et.al, 2016).

The layout aims at increasing the simplicity of site navigation and comfort ability of reading the pages. The most popular orientation is the current web designing procedure is the centered one in comparison to the traditional web pages left-side orientation. Social networking site tops the application of online communication; with Twitter and Face book being the most common sites that aid in connecting internet users irrespective of their physical location and network status. Paganelli et.al. (2016) stated that during the development process, it is highly necessary to manage web page contents using a real Website Content Management Systems; most them are available free of charge, for example, WordPress and Joomla, which has the resilience to mold the page depending on the content type. The current generation of web designing tools relying substantially on the following technologies: Java, LAMP, and Microsoft.NET (Park et. al., 2015).

Web development aids in delivering applications like website services that were initially based only on desk computers. As the event procedure advances, the aspect of website quality has evolved with emerging factors defining specific criteria. Literature research on the topic is therefore extremely essential in reflecting the contemporary growth in the discipline. Several technology scholars have contributed a lot to the improvisation o framework design and the development phases. The last decade entails several enumerations regarding web analysis

Scholarly articles have presented the web evaluation of the design methodology employed in info-centered web pages. Park et. al. (2015) postulates that the method suggests five critical steps, namely: identifying quantitative measures of the exhaustive interface, computing sample rules, derivation of statistical approaches, predicting advanced interface specifications, and finally validation of model prediction. A study into the basic requirements and essential characteristics of website quality is an element that has impacted significantly on the development by considering the user's perspective.

The 25-item tool is meant to capture the measurements of the four dimensions of quality web development; the content quality, specificity of content, technical sufficiency, and physical appearance. Another principal website evaluation method involved evaluating the four distinct stages: quality requirements specification and definition, elementary evaluation, global analysis, and recommendations phases. However, these assessments only apply after the process of development is complete. According to Niknafs et. al. (2017), PSP/IQ could ease the evaluation process; the model suggested the formation of quadrants whose column headings would represent views on the web quality whereas rows entries represent product and service quality.

The vital element of IQ for providing highly valuable information got identified as believability, completeness, concise, representation, appropriateness, error-free, security, reputation, interpretability, objectivity and consistency (Niknafs et. al., 2017). The dimensions mentioned above are then mapped into the quadrants by their approach to implementation; whether through conformance to client's expectations or by focusing on the specifications. The only main weakness of the model is the fact that it does not consider interdependence. Kolovos et. al. (2013, June) discusses a methodology referred to as AIM quality to create the basis for IQ benchmarking and performance assessment; encompasses an IQ layout, questionnaire to evaluate IQ, and interpreting techniques.

The PSP/IQ design led to the formation of AIMQ methodology; it is, therefore, an improved model, analyzes data by applying the SPSS software by focusing fifteen aspects. The other development was the enhancement of the webqual to perform quantitative analysis and create e-commerce metrics like WebQual Index; emphasizes on quality attributes concerning e-commerce (Ajjan &Hartshorne, 2008). The other advancement that majorly focused on responsiveness, reliability, tangibility, and empathy perspectives, is a technology known as Data Quality. The dimensions got introduced through the Portal Quality Model called the SERVQUAL approach. Also, there was an introduction of Web Quality model that evaluated three network aspects: web features, quality characteristics, and life processes management.

Ajjan & Hartshorne, (2008) presented a consolidated model known as QUIM, necessary for usability administration of a website. The application quantifies usability into factors, then to criteria, and finally into specific metrics that decomposes usability. In the year 2008 another web quality service design known as Square-based products; consists of three internet perspectives: website service quality, external quality of sites, and application of quality in a real scenario. The above advancement together with other later technologies has boosted web development regarding its structuring, final appearance, and performance. The information provided by the individual scholars will help ABC company a lot in adopting the best and most-embraced web designs therefore, the action research would improve their services and products.

Proposal

The web development methodology will be based on the combination of the above literature and the contribution of experienced and active website development authors. The only disadvantage expected of the involvement of the experts is the challenge on the utilization of preconceived ideas and specific expectations on the research results. The project will discuss the topic of web development procedurally in four phases at a practical level.

Iteration 1: Design Analysis

This stage will involve developing a web strategy and analysis of the implementation process; this part heavily relies on involvement of the top management and stakeholders through participation meetings. This phase reduces the risk of misunderstanding system specifications, by setting goals, strategies, and objectives that the system should strive to achieve.

Iteration 2: Web Development Design

On conclusion of the analysis stage, the process moves to the actual design implementation stage. This phase will be driven by the real design document. The section aims at making the site manageable by attaining healthy and resilient design architecture. It will conform to the current trends and technologies during the core steps: designing, and the design testing.

Iteration 3: Design Generation

This phase will focus on the production of website and is dependent on the Design Document. The stage involves the following steps: selection of an appropriate resource, review of the design, generation, and installation of codes, and finally testing.

Iteration 4: Implementation or testing

This stage is always running and ongoing in the entire development process; to ensure regular visit by users a site should have relevant and perceived valuable content. The phase will involve actual implementation, maintenance, and review of objectives.

Iteration 1: Design Analysis

The activities in this iteration that will be conducted include consulting with S. Shah (personal communication, September 15, 2017), the team of stakeholders, and the other IT experts at Infosys on the already existing systems that are being utilized by the company for the delivery of IT services. It will further involve understanding more of the services that are delivered at Infosys and the web processes that we can undertake to improve them. This iteration aims at identifying the possible web developments that can be implemented and integrated at Infosys which is a company based in India. This iteration will involve four phases including plan, action, observation, and the reflection phases. In the planning phase, I will handle the activities that I intend to do with the engagement of S. Shah (personal communication, September 18, 2017) as well as with other related stakeholders. The action phase will include the activities that we undertook in the iteration. Observation will handle the information collected during and after the iteration, and the analysis that I made based on the comments whereas the reflection phase will control the inferences that I made from the iteration and the experiences that I had during the entire process.

Plan

Being the first iteration of the project, I will ensure am endorsed with knowledge relating to web development. This will enable me to have a firm foundation relating to the project. To attain more information, I will read material relevant to web development from all the possible sources including the internet, interviewing experts, visiting the library, and reading research books relating to the same. Furthermore, I had meeting withS. Shah (personal communication, September 28, 2017) to inquire on the information he has regarding Web development.

The second activity will include working hand in hand with S. Shah(personal communication, September 28, 2017) and the team of stakeholders from Infosys to organize meetings. In this session, I will also invite IT experts who already have knowledge on Web development which will enable me to handle any questions that the stakeholders might be having. This meeting will allow me and the stakeholders to get to know each other better since we will be handling the entire project together. This session will involve the introduction of the project to the whole team and answer the queries that anyone might be having concerning the same.

I will go a further step in organizing another meeting after consulting with S. Shah (personal communication, October 6th, 2017) and the team of stakeholders. We will select the team that I will work with to make the project a success during this meeting. We will brainstorm on the processes and methodologies that can be used in Web development for Infosys as a team. The day after the meeting we will take a tour around Infosys Company for three days to collect data on the areas that need advancing in their websites. After the tour will consult with S. Shah (personal communication, October 6th, 2017) to organize another meeting where an expert on Web development will be invited to get on overview of the data we collected during the fieldwork and comment on the same. The expert will further be expected to provide more information relating to Web development and answer more queries that the compiled team might have.

Action

After my reading and researching on web development, I found a lot of useful and relevant information used in the project. This was essential in increasing my knowledge base a great deal. The first meeting that was to be held on Monday as from 10 am was conducted successfully. There was full attendance by the stakeholders and the IT experts at Infosys. During the meeting, I managed to introduce my research work on the project to all the members present. Even though the web development expert could not make it during this first meeting, I was able to answer most of the questions that the team had concerning the project. I managed this since I had done my research well enough on the project.

The team of stakeholders together with S. Shah (personal communication, October 6th , 2017) were fascinated by my project and thus offered full support during the entire project.Since the whole project concerns Web development, there was full attendance by the IT departments and representations from the other departments including the marketing and managing departments. From the meeting, the members assisted me in the selection of the team that I would be working with during the project. S. Shah (personal communication, October 6th, 2017) being the supervisor approved of the team to be reliable and thus we were ready to go.

After the meeting, we met as a team and deliberated on the entire project. I explained to the members of the team in detail of what the whole project entailed. Most of the team members were not aware of the Web development idea, and thus I clarified on any confusion that might hinder on the understanding of the project. We made an agreement in unison with the team that a tour around Infosys would be made the day after for three consecutive days.

The tour around Infosys started on Tuesday at exactly 10 am. Different departments were visited including IT and underwriting. We found out the methods that the IT department uses to deliver its services to the customers of Infosys. We also learned about the various measures that they had put in place to manage risks and prevent security breaches or hacking activities that might occur. Furthermore, we found out on any new trends in technology that the IT department had tried to use in improving service delivery to the consumers of its services. We did data analysis of the customers in the underwriting department. Infosys had to determine the amount of risk-bearing they had and evaluate every customer that they had. This would enable the determination of the premium cost.

On the second day of the tour, we visited the marketing department. In this unit, we analyzed the different methods that Infosys uses to market itself. We further found out on the methods that are utilized in customer mobilization and retaining. The procedures that employed in the identification and attraction of the potential clients were identified. We further identified the technological as well as the online platforms that were used by the marketing department at Infosys to market it.

A meeting held on the third day was in the presence of the Web development expert. The information collected during the entire tour was discussed briefly, and relevant questions asked. I further asked the questions that I had been initially unable to answer to the expert at the meeting for the benefit of all the team members present in the meeting. The expert clarified all the doubts that the members had concerning the entire project. Hence considering this, the team members discussed all the issues that related to web development. The meeting came to a consensus that the project would be highly beneficial to Infosys in that it would enable Infosys to attain its objectives and goals hence it was prompt that it gets implemented once the company accomplished all the requirements.

Observation

My view during the entire process of the project analysis was that time management is a crucial aspect for the success of any project at hand. The team was composed of members who had a strict schedule in which they ensured that they strictly followed. Moreover, most of the team members that had initially been selected were always punctual for the fieldwork. This was beneficial to S. Shah (personal communication, October 6th, 2017) and me since it allowed us to complete the project analysis in time.

Another important aspect that I observed is the fact that reconnaissance is beneficial for any research work or project. The tour around Infosys Company stretched my skills in many different aspects. For instance, my research work based on web development but in turn, I managed to learn about the various marketing strategies that an organization may use for customer mobilization and retain.

Furthermore, I observed that teamwork is an important aspect of any research work to be a success. By the involvement of Suraj Shah (S. Suraj, personal communication, October 6th, 2017) and his team of stakeholders, we managed to accomplish so much in a little time span. The idea of teamwork thus should be implemented for the success of the many different projects that may come up shortly. The iteration hence proved to be a success.

Reflection

This first iteration provided me with very many experiences during the project analysis. Working hand in hand with Suraj Shah (S. Suraj, personal communication, October 6th, 2017) was a very satisfying experience I ever had. I realized that I could use my project shortly for other purposes despite recommending it to get implemented at Infosys.

I further learned more on the web development strategies from the expert. This would enable me to evolve a better project shortly during my research. Another important lesson to me was how teamwork was so efficient during the entire project analysis. I realized that as a team you can achieve more than expected. The interaction with experts at Infosys was a great experience that I ever had.

However, despite these great experiences, the idea of the expert not showing up during the first meeting was a bad thing. This made me have pressure in answering questions during the meeting. This allowed me to understand the fact that it is important to have enough information on the project that you are handling. Keeping that aside, all I can say is that I loved the experience and that iteration, in general, was a success S. Shah(personal communication, October 6th, 2017).

Iteration 2: Web Development Design

Introduction

The iteration will focus on how to come up with a relevant web development design for the ABC IT Company. A good model should be able to incorporate the purpose of the project as well as harmonize the design structure. It should also be able to meet the client needs and the objectives of the organization in general. The Web Design that I will come up with should be satisfactory with a very distinct language design to meet the needs of ABC Corporation it being an active web developer for several online business platforms. If all the factors will get considered and an appropriate web design evolved, the web page that will get developed should focus on the usability and satisfaction.

For a successful project there should be planning, action, observation and reflection phases. In the planning phase, I will talk about the preparations I will make for the development of an appropriate Web Design. In the action stage, I will handle all the activities that took place while carrying out the project

Plan

I will begin the process of web development design by acquiring more information on the web design. To do this, I will gather all the relevant information on the web design. To begin with, I will visit the library as well as several internet sites to check on some of the best models that can get used for the web page. I will carry with me a notebook on which I will be recording the information that I will gather from my research. To facilitate further studying, I will take with me some catalogs and pamphlets that have information on the web development design. I will also dedicate a portion of my day to doing personal studies on the web design.

I will go a further and conduct some fieldwork on the web design. I will carry out several interviews with the experts and individuals whom I believe have information that is relevant to my research. I will have a notebook on which I will be recording any new data I will acquire on the web design. I will also carry some questionnaires that I will distribute to the employees as well as the members of the IT department at ABC IT Company. Hence this will just be part of the strategy at ensuring that I acquire enough and relevant information on the web design that will enable me to come up with a web page that can get implemented into ABC IT Company.

I will survey the ABC IT Company. During the pre-visit, I will analyze the systems and the technologies that are being used by the company in carrying out its operations. Hence this will enable me to develop a design that will be compatible with the systems of ABC Company. The visit will further give me an opportunity to inquire the requirements for the organization that are to be met as well as the needs of the web design itself.

The team will compose several members of the IT department of ABC IT Company. It will also include some professionals who are equipped with skills in the technology. I will also ensure that some of the experts have hands-on skills on some of the best web designs. The team will come in handy during the development of an appropriate web design. We will organize a meeting during which we will discuss the proposed web designs by the team members.

I will organize another meeting with the team members which we will conduct at the premises of the company. During the session is when we will go about the process of testing the proposed web design that gets aimed at being implemented into the systems of ABC IT Company. We will also check if the model is in line with some of the trending technologies and has even surpassed the techniques that are being used by the competing IT firms. The evolved web design is what will get used in the development of the web page.

Action

I started by visiting the library and read several technical books to find an appropriate web design that could be used by ABC IT Company. I used some of the books that my friends had proposed would be relevant to my research work. I also used the internet connection to the library to access some internet sites on web design. I finally landed on some two basic designs which I intended to apply for the development of the web page. My research for the project ended at around 3 pm.

On Tuesday, I dedicated the day to conducting some fieldwork on the project as from 9 am. I carried with me the questionnaires and a notebook which I would be using for data collection. I conducted a visit to some of the IT Companies in the vicinity of the research. I distributed the questionnaires to their respective employees and also managed to meet with some experts with skills on the web design methodology and hence conducted interviews with them. I spent the rest of the day from 1 pm to compile the information that I had accumulated on web design during the day. I completed the activities of the day at 3 pm.

On Wednesday, I conducted an official reconnaissance of ABC IT Company at 8 am. I visited the IT department of the company where we analyzed the systems of the company so that I could come up with a design that would be compatible with the networks of the organization. I also consulted with the IT specialists of the company so that I could meet the requirements of the business as well as those of the web design. After the tour, with the permission of the supervisor of the IT department, I could come up with a team of four members which I would be working with for the development of the web design. The visit to the company ended at 2:30 pm.

On Thursday, I conducted a meeting with the group members as from 2 pm. During the meeting, the members proposed some of the best designs that could get used at ABC IT Company. I also presented the models that I had found out for discussions. We analyzed the proposed models and liberated on one of the best. The model was then analyzed and modified to meet the requirements of a standard web page as well as the requirements of the company. The meeting ended at 5 pm when we had a design that would be getting implemented into the systems of the company.

On Friday, the team and I finalized on the development of the web design. A meeting was carried out at the premises of the company at 10 am. The aim was to test the web design that we had come up with. As part of the testing, we checked if the model would be compatible with the systems of the organization. The web design was found to be satisfactory, and there was a unison agreement that it would meet the needs of the organization as well as those of the customers.

Observation

I had done enough research on web design and thus I, with the help of the team members, was able to come up with an appropriate web design. Furthermore, because of the knowledge I had, I was able to have a voice during the meetings with the team members

I had a lot of sources of information for my research including the library, the use of the internet and interviewing the experts on the web design. I also had suitable data collection techniques like questionnaires that allowed me to retain any new information on web design. I believed that the information would be very vital in the future.

I also observed that working in a team is very critical. It was through the team members that I could come up with a web design that would be compatible with the systems of ABC IT Company. They taught me a lot regarding the systems of the company and how the web design would get appropriately integrated into their systems. Furthermore, the team members made it possible to work within the assigned time for the project since each member took part in the entire web development process.

Reflection

The web development process in the iteration provided me with an excellent learning platform. I could learn a lot about web design. A good web design should meet the organization’s as well as customer specifications. It should also match the four primary dimensions of a quality web page which are an excellent physical appearance, the quality of the content should be satisfactory, it should achieve technical sufficiency and also the specificity of the displayed content should be met. I also learned how to develop an appropriate web design.

I also learned how to conduct a project efficiently. I subdivided the whole project into small manageable bits and thus could complete the entire project in time. I met all of the objectives that I had set aside for the project. Furthermore, I worked within the schedule that I had developed at the very beginning of the whole project. I also learned that it is essential to work in a team to achieve most of the objectives of a project and also operate a project to perfection.

I further learned that it is critical for a business to have its objectives. ABC IT Company had its targets that it aimed at achieving and this is what motivated them to implement the new web page into their systems. I too had my own goals, and this is what made me get excited about doing the project.

The iteration was a pleasant one, but I would like to register some of the disappointments that I faced while conducting the iteration. Some of the team members were quite unreliable in submitting their findings for the web design, and thus the whole process was not so fortunate.

Iteration 3: Design Generation

Introduction

Having an appropriate web design for the development of a web page is very essential. During this iteration, I will focus on developing the web design that had gotten discussed in the previous iteration. The ABC IT Company is one among the active Web developing companies for the online businesses that are based in the US. The web design that will get generated should be able to meet the aim of the organization which is establishing a web design that will be satisfactory, legible and visible. The design language that will get used in the development of the web page for the organization should also meet the CEO’s expectations in the business. I will use four primary stages to ensure that the iteration is successful which are; the planning stage will relate to how I will prepare to carry out the design generation process.

Plan

I will begin the research by organizing all the necessary tools and resources that I will require for the iteration to be successful. Some of the resources that I will ensure I have included a laptop which will be having the web design. I will also ascertain that the ABC IT Company has a stable internet connection that will get required at the time of testing the web page after it has been generated. I will also ensure that I am well equipped with information on the web design to ensure that I also participate in the process of developing the web design for ABC IT Company. I will also be accompanied by experts on web design to ensure that I can obtain a helping hand whenever I encounter a challenge at the time of generating the web design for ABC IT Company.

I will review the web design that I intend to deploy into the systems of ABC IT Company. I will use the help of the team that I had been working within the previous iterations to ensure that the process of reviewing the design is very efficient and quite perfect. During the reviewing of the web design, we will ensure that the requirements of the Company have gotten met and the minimal requirements for the project are appropriately taken care of per say. We will go a further step and cross check if the web design meets some of the objectives of the organization as well as the client needs. We will also check if the web design will be at par with most of the trending technologies in the market for technology. If the model is found to have met all the requirements, it will then be ready for the development stage.

I will then go about the process of generation of the web page for the ABC IT Company. For this process to be successful, I will fully utilize the help of the team members to ensure that the web page evolved will be the most effective and reliable that can be easily utilized by ABC IT Company. We will also utilize all the resources that will be at our disposal from the company. We will compile all the codes that will have been accumulated by the team members and isolate those that will allow the web page to arrive at the intended results. We will then be involved with the installation of the codes to come up with a web page that will aim at achieving the objectives of the ABC IT Company. After the codes have gotten installed, the web page will then be ready for the next stage which will be analyzing its performance.

I will also test the developed web page for the Company. As far as testing is concerned, I will use the help of the IT specialists at ABC IT Company. They will help me in the tracking of any bugs that might be present in the generated web design. In any case, bugs are found to exist in the created web design; we will use the best technology that can be provided by the company to track and clean the program of the program bugs. We then will feed some data to the web design generated and rely on the feedback to evaluate its performance.

Action

The carrying out of the project began on Saturday at 9 am. I dedicated the day to collect all the tools and resources that will get required for the project. To start with, I compiled all the data that I had acquired in the previous iteration for use in the generation of a web design that will get integrated into the systems of the ABC IT Company. I also copied the intended design to the laptop to ensure that the process would be easy and fast. Through communications with the members of the IT department at the company, I checked and found out that the company had a stable internet connection hence that would not be a significant challenge for the project. My preparation which involved the selection of the appropriate resources for the project ended at 1 pm.

On Monday as from 9 am, I conducted a meeting with the team members. The principal objective of the meeting was to review the design. Some of the members of the team did not make it to the meeting since they had commitments elsewhere. However, since the members who were present reached a majority, the meeting continued. We cross-checked the objectives of ABC IT Company and analyzed if most of them had been met by the web page. We also examined the client needs of the business about the generated web design and were fascinated to realize that most of them had been met by the created web design. We also evaluated all the requirements of the web design from those of the Company to those that are the minimum requirements for a standard web design. The meeting ended at 12:30 pm when we found out that the generated web design was appropriate for implementation.

On Tuesday as from 8:30 am, we went about the process of generating and installing the codes into the proposed design. The team members each had done some research on the codes that will lead to the development of the best web page for ABC IT Company. There was the presence of some IT specialists who assisted us in isolating the codes that will yield the intended web page. After the intended codes had been separated and ascertained that they would arrive at the expected results, we went about the process of installing the codes into the generated design. The process needed to be quite precise and very accurate and thus it spilled over to the Wednesday when we completed the process of code installation to come up with a web page for use by the company.

On Thursday, we did the testing of the generated web page for ABC IT Company. To begin with, we tested the program for the presence of any bugs. We used the web bug tracking which was the best and the one that the organization had been using for bug tracking in any new technology installed into the systems of the company. The web page was found to be free from bugs. We then went about the subsequent testing of the web page where we inputted some data and analyzed the customer feedback. We found that the web page was functioning very correctly and that most of the customers appreciated it as the right technology to get installed into the systems of the company.

Observation

I observed that having the necessary tools and resources is very critical while carrying out a project. I had well-stored data on the web design, and hence I used it for the entire process of web design generation. It came in handy because I had the web design that was to be generated in the laptop thus the process was smooth. Furthermore, I had information regarding the web design hence I was able to have a say in the generation of the web page of the company.

I also found out that working in a team is essential. The team members allowed me to strictly the schedule that I had set aside for myself. Each member had a role and responsibility to take care of during the project thus lifting off the entire heavy load form my hands. Hence this made each portion of the project to be efficiently handled and with high precision. The team members also taught the benefits of having information about a given project because if I had in the slightest relied on the members who missed the meeting, and then the project would not have been successfully conducted.

I had done enough research on the web design and more especially its generation thus I had several advantages on my side. For instance, I was able to explain to the team members the expectations of the project and also meet the requirements of the company regarding the project. The information also allowed me to write a clear and detailed report about the project.

Reflection

The interaction with the IT specialists was significant. They taught me a lot regarding the systems of the ABC IT Company. Furthermore, they also showed me how to check for the correct codes that will allow you to develop the intended programme that will meet the requirements that have been set aside and also client needs. To add on these, the IT specialists were quite helpful in the general process of Web Design generation.

It dawned on me that working with a schedule can be very important. I had prepared a program which I used for the whole project. The plan ensured that each vital aspect of the design generation got well handled. Moreover, there was very minimal time wastage thus efficient fieldwork. It also allowed me to conduct the whole research work and the iteration as well within the assigned time span. In addition to that, there was a very smooth transition of activities from one to the next as a result of the schedule I had at hand.

Despite all the beautiful and pleasant experiences that I had during the iteration, I would like to register my disappointment. The absence of some of the team was a very discouraging experience because they immobilized the process of idea mobilization. Some of the team members were also late in submitting their findings and hence making the whole process to be slowed down.

Iteration 4: Implementation

Introduction

The advancement of web development has been boosted ranging from the structuring, performance and the appearance. The basic concept is the fact that the most critical aspects of the internet have gotten focused on which the information provided by the scholars and the benefits that will be attained by the organization is what will motivate the ABC IT Company to integrate the generated web design into their systems. Thus, for the iteration to be successful there will be four steps that will get used which are the plan, action, observation and the reflection stages. In the planning stage, I will talk about the preparations that I will make for the implementation of the web design into the systems of ABC IT Company. The action phase will then handle all the activities that I undertook during my time at the premises of the company. I will take care of all the things that I observed while conducting the iteration in the observation phase and the evaluations that I made from the observation stage.

Plan

I will begin the research by having a very well-defined schedule for the whole project. I will outline all the activities that I intend to undertake for the entire iteration. I will then assign every action its time limit to get completed. I believe that this will help me to reduce the amount of time wastage while conducting the iteration while at the same time maximizing the minimal period that I will behave for the carrying out of the whole iteration and precisely implementing the project into the systems of ABC IT Company.

The principal activity that I will be handling during this stage will be the implementation of the project into the systems of the company. It will come after the testing of the generated web design. I will first call for the screening of the compatibility of the website with the systems of the organization. This will ensure that no complications will arise during the actual process of implementing the project in the networks of ABC IT Company. If difficulties get found which will hinder the installation of the project into the systems of the company, we will go about upgrading the networks to suit the website. If there will be no complications; in such that the systems will get found to be compatible with the site, then we will go about installing it.

The installed website will require following up after installation to ensure that it is functioning properly with minimal complications. It implies that the maintenance phase will follow the implementation of the website into the systems of ABC IT Company. Some of the activities that the team and I intend to be engaged in include the checking up of client feedback on the new web page. We will also be monitoring the website in case there comes about any case of hacking or system crash. We also will be making updates here and there to ensure that the site meets customer needs and the objectives of the organization as had been proposed and promised.

The final step that we will be engaged in is the review of the objectives of the entire project. Such will include the targets that I had set aside for achieving come to the end of the project. I will also focus on the objectives, aims, and goals of the ABC IT Company that the installation of the website will be achieving. I will also focus on the requirements of the project that will have been completed by the project. This will include the needs of the ABC IT Company and the typical conditions for the development of a standard website that is to be utilized by an organization either for advertisement purposes or the communication with its respective clients. In general, I will focus on all the objectives that the website will have achieved after implementation into ABC IT Company.

Action

I began my research work on Saturday morning at 8 am. Since there was not much of research and the work piece was not expected to be so involving, I stayed at home and developed the schedule for my research work from there. I organized all of the activities that I was looking forward to achieving the implementation of the project and coordinated each with a specific time limit. I ensured that my schedule would not collide with the most important day to day activities that are carried out at ABC IT Company that would inconvenience the organization. I also outlined some of the objectives that I aimed at accomplishing come to the end of the project in general. With these at hand, I believed that I was ready to undertake the activities that were required for the implementation of the website at ABC IT Company.

On Monday morning, as from 8 am we began the integration of the website into the system of the organization. With the help of the IT specialists from the IT department, they assisted us to analyze the network and as to whether they would be compatible with the systems of the organization. After the checking of the systems, we realized that they would require a little of updating so that they could fully support the website. Since we intended that the process of implementing the site be very efficient, the members of the team and the IT department agreed that the updating be done the following day. The day thus ended at around 12:30 pm.

On Tuesday, we got down to the business of updating the systems of the organization. The activities started at around 9:30 am. What fascinated me is the fact that the ABC IT Company had a reliable and stable internet connection thus the process happened a lot faster and more comfortable than I expected. It was a simple and d clear indication that the company was very dedicated to ensuring that the website got implemented into the organization.

On Wednesday, the systems were updated and ready to implement the website into the systems of ABC IT Company. The process of implementing the website into the systems of ABC was not so complicated, and hence it took very minimal time to integrate the website into the networks of the company. The process began at 10 am and by 12:30 pm the website was up and running. The site was then tested and found to be functioning very efficiently, and it was giving the intended results within a short duration.

On Thursday from 9 am, we did the reviewing of the objectives that were set aside for the project. We analyzed first the requirements of the website and the ABC IT Company and realized that most of them had been met. We went a further step and reviewed the objectives of the organization and realized that most of them would get achieved with time. Finally, I analyzed my purposes, and much as not all of them had gotten accomplished, a good number were, and hence the general results were satisfactory.

On Friday and Saturday, the process of maintenance of the website took place. We added a few features to improve the appearance of the site and also checked on the customer feedback. Most of the customers of the organization were fascinated by the project, and hence this proved to be a positive aspect of the company. Furthermore, we did a review of the project and came up with a few suggestions on how the website could be improved.

Observation

I observed that the management, as well as the employees of the organization, was very willing to implement the website into their systems. They offered full support for the implementation of the project into the networks of the company and made a follow up of the activities that were taking. In essence, I observed that you have to be willing to implement a project or carry out an assignment for it to be successful.

I also observed that having objectives gives you a scope of doing something. I had intentions that I aimed at achieving come to the end of the project, and this is what kept me on toes during the entire time of conducting the project. The organization also had objectives that it aimed at accomplishing and hence they supported the project from the beginning to the implementation stage. The objectives are what kept them also doing the business that they were involved in.

I also observed that it is very critical that an organization has updated systems. This will enable it to compete effectively with the other agencies. Moreover, it is essential because to implements the trending and up to date technologies far much more accessible, fast and efficient. ; Also having updated technologies allows an organization to operate and the trending technologies. In the case of ABC IT Company, time and money would have gotten saved if it had updated technology as well as the systems.

Reflection

I learned the importance of having a schedule and a plan for the activities you intend to carry out during research. The schedule allowed me to complete the project precisely in time. I could minimize the time wasted while carrying out some of the activities and also maximize the time that I used while conducting each activity. The schedule came in handy because it helped me outline all the important activities. Furthermore, there was a very smooth transition of the events from one to the next.

Another valuable lesson to me is the benefits of teamwork to research. The team members that I was working with taught me a lot about website development and also the process of implementing a new program or project into the systems of a company. The team allowed me to complete the project in the time since they kept me on toes during the whole process of implementing the website into the systems of ABC IT Company.

I learned that time management is a significant aspect of a project. The element of time is what led me to develop a schedule on how I intended to carry out the project. I was very observant of time in every activity that I undertook, and hence I undertook the whole project within the set time limit. It is also the time that I had set aside to complete the project that made me come up with the schedule. As a result, there was very minimal time wastage during the iteration.

Conducting the iteration which involved the implementation of the website into the systems of ABC IT Company was an essential and beneficial experience. Hence this proved that the iteration was a significant, educative and successful experience.

Reflective Statement

The conducting of the iterations in the process of implementation of website into the systems of ABC IT Company has been a very educative experience. I learned a lot both on the educative platform and the general life aspects. I evolved a functional time schedule for the conducting of the iterations and hence the very first lesson that I learned was to be a good time manager. I also acquired a lot of information regarding to web development. There is the aspect of quality service delivery to the clients of an organization with a good quality appearance.

I also observed several aspects such as the idea of working in a team that enables you to achieve a lot in limited time. The web page that had been developed would assist the company to realize most of its objectives. The website developed should have material that is legible and precise such that it meets the customer needs of the clients. The process of web development is very long and demanding and thus should be given a primary focus and emphasis so that the output can be qualitative. The research work was successful since I could complete the project in time and implement it into the systems of the organization.
