I must now Pick one canal or waterway in the book or another canal / waterway and inform my teacher the latest statistics about the waterway. 1. Statistics such as the location

2. importance to commerce movement

3 amount of traffic that uses the chosen waterway / canal

4 types of ships it can / cannot handle

5 any plans to dredge to accommodate larger ships

6 any other relevant facts about the waterway.

A. This should be constructed as a two page research paper with an overview of your chosen canal / waterway and

B. presentation answering all the questions I gave you up above.

C. a summary of your chosen canal / waterway and why you chose it.

Think of it as you were asked to provide your boss with all the necessary information needed to make a decision about the company using the waterway for import / export movement.
