Warmup Assignment (25 points)
Due: 10/9/20 by 5:00pm
Prompt. Pablo’s goal is to improve his conditioning. The local gyms are currently closed so he can’t train at the gym. It’s raining heavily out where he resides so he can’t go out for a run. Pablo found a body weight circuit he could perform since he is stuck at home.
Conditioning Workout – For Time
2 – 4 – 6 – 8 – 10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2
· Cossack Squat
· Push Ups
Directions.
Create a warm up for Pablo. Prepare him for the upcoming workout. Increase is heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature. Provide him with a variety of stretches to mobilize before training. Follow the guidelines discussed in class:
· Safe exercise selection
· Go from low to high intensity
· Transition from general to specific
Assume Pablo does not have access to any equipment. (No bands, no dumbbells, no kettlebells etc.) Create a warm up that does not require any equipment.
Assignment Submission
1. A copy of your warm up (word or pdf)
a. Exercises listed in order
b. Information on – sets, reps, distance etc.
2. A video recording of the warm up
a. Exclude – walking, jogging, jumping jacks
b. Identify the stretch or drill
c. Perform 4-5 reps
