Project Description

For this assignment, you have to assess a warehouse of your choice using the Warehouse Assessment in a Single Tour method. Only 7 of the total 11 areas have to be assessed and will be graded (you can choose these yourself).

For every area of your choice evaluate good and bad aspects and prove your findings as much as possible with illustrations.

Complete Exhibits 2 and 3 at the end of “Warehouse assessment in single tour” paper and include them as an appendix in your report

On the first page of the report include relevant company data (#SKUs, average number of orders and order lines per day, size of the warehouse, #employees, product types, who are the customers,…) and possibly pictures.

The net length of the report is not to exceed 4 pages, excluding cover page, references, or appendices, but including pictures to substantiate your claims.
