Wall Street Journal Presentation Assignment:

Students will select an article from the Wall Street Journal. Choose an article on a topic or firm that you find important or intriguing. This often means an article regarding a company you are familiar with or whose product/service you use, although you are not limited to this constraint. You may choose an article with a topic that you deem relevant to you or your classmates. Articles are generally divided into two categories: current events and case studies. Your presentation should include the facts presented in the article as well as some inferences or suggestions of how the issue presented in the article could impact the larger business environment. You may also include suggestions regarding how the issue or conflict presented in the article could potentially be resolved.

The presentation should consist of a five minute summary of the article and up to an additional five minutes for a question and answer session. Your summary should inform students of the article topic such that they could effectively discuss the article without further research.
