In this activity you will be exploring RAID storage schemes for network servers. This will improve your skill in configuring a small office or home office (SOHO) network, and managing related external devices.

 

Instructions

Today you received a ticket to work on the company servers. Open the ticket, troubleshoot the issue, and fill out and submit the final updated ticket.

· Open and study the  W08 Help Desk Ticket   Download W08 Help Desk Ticket.

· Troubleshoot the issue by opening TestOut 14.8 (the lab sandbox) and working inside of the networking closet.

· Go through the steps you would take to fix the problem.

· Configure each server with the appropriate redundant storage scheme.

· Take screenshots of the Desk Management consoles of each server after configuration, as well as the Hyper-V Manager Console verifying that CorpDC, CorpDHCP12, and CorpFiles12 are still functioning.

· Fill out the help desk ticket completely and submit the final updated ticket.
