Although Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is the most convenient and cost-effective project delivery method in construction, it is not implemented by the owners in many projects. This problem has negatively affected all project stakeholders and the efficiency of construction projects.
One of the main causes of this issue is that IPD requires an investment of time and money upfront and early in the project. Failure to widely adopt IPD will result in silos and low-performance team in construction projects. This paper seeks for recommendations to help the owners for easier adoption of IPD in their construction projects.

Wholesale companies that rely on overseas shipping are especially vulnerable to delivery delays and disruptions, since vessels may get delayed due to various emergencies such as overbooked space, bad weather, and port congestion. There are always many natural or man-made risks that can affect the supply chain. Although many companies have created management tools such as Time & Action and Work In Process to track the various supply chain processes including design, sourcing, and production, delivery delays are still prevalent.
The delay causes a domino effect as suppliers have to push back schedule due to limited capacity, which can frequently cause even further delays. According to the National Center for Charitable Statistics, there are 1.5 million nonprofit or tax exempt organizations in the United States alone that spend about $1.63 trillion dollars annually on overhead and other programmatic expenses (National Center for Charitable Statistics, 2016). However, many nonprofits lack project management processes that makes it difficult for them to track their spending, to report that spending to the public and their donors, and to continue to gain the trust from donors to keep receiving both the funding that covers their overhead costs that keeps them running and the donations needed for their humanitarian programs.
