Regency Star Hotel

This report is conducted for Regency Star Hotel to analyze its feasibility. In this report we will try to cover all major aspects related to feasibility of this hotel and how proposed plan will be implemented. At the end we try to give recommendations for this project.

Location analysis and Development pipeline:

This four star hotel is proposed in city of Thailand. At this location labor can be found in in less expensive cost as compare to developed country. Tourism is major business in Thailand including target population of this project. We intend to cater tourists in cost effective manner. Best services and comforts are expected to provide tourists in affordable budget. Public transport can easily be found there which can take tourists to major tourist’s attractions. (Landman, 2018)

Market Performance

This area location have many tourist attractions and remain open in all season. Market never get down there in Thailand. Number of hotels can be found there which provide luxuries facilities in expensive rates. In three star hotels rates are affordable but services are very low class. These types of hotels are good for individuals but not suitable for families. This is reason our project have scope as it cater families. It have comforts and services a family required during their tour. Our rates make it possible for family in increased number of family members to stay for many days. (Landman, 2018)

Competitive Analysis

Our competition include three star and four star hotels found in neighborhood. Their rates are very similar to our hotel. We focus of adding variety of food to attract customers. Facilities to keep kids equipped in games is major motivator factor that no other hotel is offering in neighborhood. We also packages for newlyweds to make their trip memorable. (Landman, 2018)

Local hotel supply and demand investigation

All neighborhood hotel target tourists. There are beaches, safari park and markets in neighborhood. Hotels offer guides, cars for travelling, and provide their needs. People coming for business require most luxurious facilities. They often organize tourists’ trips with collaboration of tour operators. Our hotel provide free wifi for business and family customers. This means that one can always remain updated as they remain in touch with the outside world (Rauch et al, 2015).

Room rates and year-round occupancy levels

Our hotel is expected to have $20 to $40 rent for one night in peak season. These rates can decrease according to available rooms and expected customers. We have options for even $10 per night stay depending on facilities. All rates would depend on time of year, facilities provided, and number of available rooms.

Suggestions:

In proposal there were all core benefits covered. We suggest Japanese partitioning styles for dividing rooms to make it cost effective for single tourists. Safari trips and complete city tour in one day can be added to increase tour attractions for this hotel. They can also add entertainment shows like live singing for their visitors. We suggest them to not compromise on family atmosphere to increase number of customers. (Hynes, n.d.)

Conclusion:

In this report we try to analyses all possible aspects associated with hotel project. Their possible competitors, favoring factors, weak points, and recommendations. This project have high chance of being successful.
