Assignment 4

For an air flow rate in a section of duct 100 feet long is 1500 cfm. The duct has a design static pressure drop of 0.08 inches WC with duct dimensions of 20 by 12 inches. Find the static pressure drop of the duct section.

 

Also, for a duct flow rate of 1000 cfm, a pressure drop of 0.1 inches WC, find the size of the duct using an equal friction chart.
