Basic computer controls are not a bad thing they just don’t cover all of the bases. General computer controls are not there for cyber security they are there for basic security. The cybersecurity architecture specifies the organizational structure, functional behavior, standards, and policies of a computer network that includes both network and security features. Furthermore, it is a unified security design that addresses the necessities and potential risks involved within certain scenario or environment. It also specifies when and where to apply security controls. Having a set of policy that follow a district format that helps ensure that a computer system/network etc. Also simple is just that it covers the barebones. Companies need a full set of skin and muscle to protect their assets.
