Pretend you live in the Jim Crow South and your neighbor Sally Mae Ramsey told you about how she and a group of other African Americans plan to move to Detroit Michigan. In your assignment, you are going to have an internal monologue where you weigh the pros and cons of migrating up North. Please refer to the article,  "How to Write an Internal Monologue: Dialogue Formatting Guidelines" by Master Class  for guidance when preparing to write this assignment. 

Assignment Content Requirements:

Two to three historical facts from this week's articles/power point

Include a year relevant to the Great Migration

Clearly define your character's decision at the end of the internal monologue 

Cite any additional resources using APA format in the References section
