Do you agree or disagree and WHY?

My first thought when thinking of where we were ten years ago to now and what is yet to come goes straight what is our hands, pockets and most likely on our nightstands when we sleep. Our cell phones have made leaps and bounds in the cyber world. The constant connectivity and persistent push notifications for virtually any aspect of our lives. I remember being excited about the snake game on my flip phone; now I am looking at real-time flight information for aircraft flying over and even reading my next assignment for this class while I am anywhere in the US.

I perceive the federal and corporate sectors following what the public and private sector are aligning with. Our mobile devices have enabled us to update our personal lives whether its school, dinner plans or budget. We can access and modify them at any time with a push and swipe of our phone. The convenience is paramount for consumers, and the federal and corporate sectors will most likely make this more of a reality for their systems as well. By enabling their professionals to interpret data, threats or updates on the fly without the need to be in front of a desktop or even laptop computer could open doors to their efficiency.

Now comes the scary part how do we protect this information and still allow appropriate access. Mobile data is where I see the next boom in the next ten years. Security now goes beyond protecting the hardware locked in a room somewhere to securing the ones and zeros flying in the clouds. Cloud security will mostly expand exponentially with the use of mobile devices. The challenge will be the need to protect the data saved in remote locations as-well-as the device itself. Storage capacity has increased greatly making the mobile device more viable and possibly more susceptible to attack.
