Read "The Case" ( Isabella) on page 208 of the textbook. How will you document this session? Discuss three things you will write in your report explaining why they will be included. Include in your discuss any referrals or other action you think appropriate in this case.

Conduct a brief interview someone who is not part of the dominant culture and/or not part of your own group. This might be someone who is older, a person of color, or someone who is gay or transgender, etc. Generate a list of questions you might ask to gain fuller understanding of what it is like to be in this culture. What are their needs? In your role as the helping professional either intake worker, counselor, etc. explain how you might advocate for this individual in getting help. For example, how will you document the needs, the referral, the appropriateness for services, etc.
