Effect of Weights
Problem 1. Examine the Data
a. Open the dataset labeled PUBH_8500_Week 11_dataset.sav
b. Produce numeric descriptive statistics for the following variables:
Step 1. Before beginning the analyses, make sure the data are not previously weighted. Go to Data ( Weight cases
Step 2. Click “Do not weight cases”. Click OK.
Step 3. Go to Analyze ( Descriptive statistics ( Frequencies. Select and move variables i. – ix. to Variable(s) box.
Step 4. This is optional - Click on Charts. Select Bar charts and Percentages, click Continue. Click OK.
