Visualization project on Phishing Campaign Data

Phishing attacks are on the increase, particularly through the corporate email system. To protect the information assets of the organization, many companies conduct email phishing campaigns. These campaigns train the employees to deal with real phishing emails. The simulation exercise is a proven method to create awareness amongst employees. Please find attached sample phishing campaign data. The columns of the XLS are explained here.

· Email template name, is the name of the email subject

· Email sent, is the number of employees that were subject to the email campaign.

· Delivered, is the number of employees who received the phishing campaign email

· Reported, is the number of employees, who reported about the phishing email to the Admin

· Reported%, is a percentage of the total delivered emails

· Clicked, is the number of employees, who fell for the campaign, by clicking on the link

· Failed%, is a percentage of employees who clicked, percentage of the total emails sent.

· Geographical breakdown, of phishing campaign data is also provided

Using the above details, please help the organization to understand data trends and patterns, by visually depicting the answers for the following questions.

· Which email templates needs to be discontinued?

· Using this data, can you project future trends?

The Project:

1. Download the 2-week trial version of Tableau

2. Using the data XLS, please answer the above questions, by developing visualization in Tableau.

3. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation as a Group (not exceeding 5 slides max, minimum 3 slides).

4. Please make any needed assumptions; you may also check with me during online sessions.
