Vision and Mission Statements Analysis 4-6

(Your first paragraph is realy good! But it does not specify our servant led organization which we said was Starbucks. Thus, please try to use Starbucks as the example in here.) – refer to your question #4

A servant leadership organization is one in which the leader focuses on serving the needs of the people they lead. This may include providing support, guidance, and resources to help them achieve their goals. The leader may also take on tasks usually delegated to others to free up their time to focus on more important matters. The organization is focused on serving others and making a positive difference in their lives. This is evident in the vision statement, which talks about the organization being a force for good in the world. The mission statement also talks about the organization's dedication to helping others and mentions the specific ways the organization does this (Zhou, Gul & Tufail,2022). The organization puts the needs of others first and is willing to sacrifice its interests for the sake of those it serves. The organization is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for all. The organization is willing to take risks and innovate to serve better those it exists to help.

The Microsoft organization's vision and mission statements reflect the values that make up the company's culture. Microsoft's vision statement seeks to "take a leading role in redefining how people work and live through breakthroughs in technology."(Needs a citation after a quote) This mission statement expresses the desire for employees to work in a way that is unique to them (Nachan & Nachan, 2022). They want to pursue their own goals without being held back by others' expectations of how they should behave or what they should be doing. The values expressed in this vision and mission statement can be seen in many areas of Microsoft's business practices. For example, Microsoft's marketing tactics are designed to appeal to people with specific needs or desires; this allows them to make money off those needs or desires while maintaining an ethical relationship with their customers. In addition, Microsoft's treatment of its employees reflects its commitment to working collaboratively toward common goals rather than focusing purely on personal gain.

The Starbucks organization's vision and mission statements express the company's values. The first is "Starbucks is a company that cares deeply about our community and the people who live in it."(Citation after a quote) This means that Starbucks cares about its customers, employees, and community. The second is that "we strive to inspire and nurture the human spirit through coffee, together." ."(Citation after a quote) This means that Starbucks strives to make a positive impact on the community. Starbucks has been known for its charitable contributions, such as employee volunteer days, free drinks, and food for those in need. Starbucks employees are also valued by the company and are treated fairly. Employees are given opportunities to grow and thrive within the company through training programs such as leadership classes and team-building events conducted by senior management members within each department (Musonera, 2021). Employees are also given recognition for their hard work with internal awards ceremonies held annually at the headquarters of Seattle, WA, USA. For instance, all staff receives recognition based on performance metrics such as sales goals met throughout each fiscal year, customer satisfaction scores, and employee retention rate, which ultimately contribute to the overall success of their respective department.

For the last paragraph your assignment questions states - “A determination on whether EACH organization is living out the principles or values expressed in both their vision and mission statements. Provide an explanation to support your determination.” - I would recommend including Microsoft as well in this section.
