“normal behavior”

Resolved
● The American Bar Association resolved this policy.
● The Association supported the efforts of:
● U.S Justice Department ● The state and territories
● Local government and agencies ● Local law enforcement agencies ● Non- governmental victim service
programs
Resolved
● In addition to the local bar associations. ● All these, tasked with the responsibility to implement full faith and credit ● In the mandate of Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (VAWA) ● The Act directs states and territories to enforce criminal and civil protection ● By orders issued by foreign states, tribal and territorial courts
Further Resolved
● This being a sensitive matter
● The association further urges Congress,States, territories, tribal and Local governments to fund organizations that help and support victims of domestic violence
Full faith and credit mandate
● In addition to agencies ● To support fully and fund the efforts ● To implement full faith and credit mandate
● The full faith and credit mandate include, the Following but not limited to: ○ Development of Intrastate and interstate computer registries ○ That deals with protection orders
Full faith and credit mandate
● Also include civil education ● That is training of community members ● They include, judges lawyers, law enforcement official, advocates and
medical professionals ● The main reason being that they come in contact with victims of domestic
violence ● And the perpetrators of domestic violence
Full faith and credit mandate
● The civil education will help such community members ● Understand the full faith and credit mandate ● And the application of the protection orders issued by foreign states ● That comes with the protocols
Full Faith and Credit mandate
● The protocols are of the states, tribal, territorial and local agencies ● Whereby the protocols main aim was to remove the barriers ● That might be there when it comes to enforcement of foreign protection
orders ● That is in addition of prioritizing victim safety
Okay so the main two corresponding issues are having low security around the domestic violence agency and how anyone can locate them aka their abusers. The second one is somewhere to keep the kids safe and a clean environment and not just any room but providing them with full support. Moving kids place to place can hurt them in so many ways.
How i would like to see a change? Providing agencies to high security and fund housing for victims and their kids and for them to always be protected and have that support they need to get through their experience.
