Violence

This summer, we witnessed outbreaks of violence in response to the racial injustices committed against blacks in this country. Locally, there have been over 100 shootings in Chicago alone over just these past three weekends. Even children have been victims. 

Please incorporate at least two sources of evidence in a brief discussion about the epidemic of violence in our country or in Chicago in particular.  At least one paragraph should be focused on one or more potential solutions.
