Writing assignment prompt (all questions must be answered):

- How does the federal educational policy (No Child Left Behind, etc.) affect education?

- How do state and local educational policies affect education?

- Who are the main actors in education policy?

- How do the various actors in education policy shape the process?

Make sure to incorporate both information from class and from the video you watched in your responses.

The writing assignment is worth 5% of your final grade. Your response/essay should at least 2 double-spaced pages, one-inch margins. Your essay is meant to be analytical, not opinionated. I care less about your opinion and more about your using the course materials and lectures to answer the questions posed. Your grammar and spelling affect the clarity of your ideas, thus correct spelling and grammar are required in this assignment.

Your response needs to be submitted in the appropriate box. Alternatively, you can attach a file, but only DOC/DOCX and PDF files will be graded. You have a single attempt so be careful what you submit. Your submission CANNOT be edited and is final.
