VersionsofMSRAM.pdf

Versions of MSRAM There are two versions of the MSRAM, which is used in Microsoft Access program (part of Microsoft Office programs). Field level agencies within the Coast Guard use its version to analyze information through data collection and Coast Guard HQ uses a classified version for policymaking and decision making purposes. The data collected is also based on two sources (or versions) of the model and can be used alongside other supporting agencies' program systems to strategize for procedural and application purposes. The Coast Guard applies such information to preserve resources to prevent threats towards America's waterways. Furthermore, the Coast Guard's intelligence office provide threat information to give an in-depth analysis on the attack modes and targets that is used for not only for the military's maritime operations, but for law enforcement and emergency management officials.

The lesson will discuss whether the use of law enforcement, military, or security presence activities deter terror attacks. The use of methods such as random patrolling, cameras, fencing, military armed escorts, etc., will be reviewed for their risk-lessening potential. This lesson will also discuss how mitigating terror attack results is a vitally important part of the risk management process. Finally, we will also learn why security professionals should not completely rely on models and risk statistics in determining security protection strategies.
