Journal One: The Colonial Period

While most people think of Puritan customs as being too strict, outdated, draconian, and perhaps outrageous, bits and pieces of quite a few laws and social customs from that period of history still exist and are currently in practice. Based upon what you have read and learned so far, which current rules, laws or social customs do you think stem from Puritan thought? Explain your response.
