FINA 307 Stock Research Assignment

This project represents up to 5% of your overall grade,

Each student will choose a publically traded corporation on either the NYSE or NASDAQ and write a 5+ page report about the company’s stock. Including, years in business, current performance, how it compares to the competition etc.

Your report should be written as if it was a requirement in order to obtain a job with that company. You need to impress your future employer with your analytical skills and make a recommendation as to where you believe the stock is headed and why.

If student does a well presented, structured and researched paper I often give extra credit.

The paper may use graphs and charts.

Students are welcome to work together to determine how to properly research a stock and what the report should look like. DO NOT HAND IN THE SAME OR SIMILAR REPORT FOR THE SAME STOCK.
