Response to Peer:

Hello, class and professor hope everyone had a good weekend.

The white house is expensive when becoming a candidate is only the beginning as part of the election process. but the fact is that candidates both need to persuade voters that they deserve the critical votes of electors as part of the electoral college.  Political parties have played a huge role in American presidential elections. The conditions of historical eras and of America's people have given a rise to various political parties that have been founded in certain candidates that represent them. One strategy is traditional ground and campaigning and voter contacts are some of the most effective strategies. but many say knocking on doors will help increase the turnout some campaigns that have not to work are first is understanding how a candidate can win and how the election and it will be voted to be able to win but also understanding who will vote for the candidate and why. The U. S chamber is a group that includes an interest group that the organization communication can practice who then will create for the community to be able to benefit their members. face book started to be used to be able to publicize their goals and any concerns they might have. Some function that parties may form is political parties recruit candidates for many races at the national state. parties also conduct voter registration drives and mobilization efforts on the day of election day. to be able to increase voter participation.

Why the courts are not actually allowed to interpret the Constitution?

Please respond to the following:

· Based on the scenario and the knowledge gained from this section, address the following:

· Identify one or two impediments that may prevent an average citizen from receiving a fair trial in the U.S. Then, determine at least one policy that could prevent unfair trials in the U.S. court system.

· What are some aspects that differentiate the American judicial system from other systems? If you have Netflix, I encourage you to check out National Geographic's series Locked Up Abroad.

· Remember, fairness is NOT the same as justice -- those are two different things, so be careful not to confuse the two...more on this later...

· Also remember that there is no mention in the Constitution of the courts being allowed to interpret the Constitution...they can interpret that law based on the Constitution, but not the Constitution itself.

Respond to Peer Below:

Good Evening Class and Professor Salley,

One impediment that may prevent an average citizen from receiving a fair trail in the U.S. is: being African American.  History has countless court cases were African American males have spent countless years in prison for a crime they did not commit and several years or decades later, their case is revisited or evidence surfaced that proved their innocence.

As a reference on this subject, The New York Times completed a study in 2017.

As far as a policy is concerned, I honestly do not believe one can ever be created and complied by all citizens.  I say this because, when the introduction of  police wearing a camera, I personally felt there was hope for transparency.  Well...that flew out the window when police choose when they wanted the camera on or not.

Human beings should not need a policy when it comes to equal and fair justice.  The compassion comes from within.  When one is blinded by color, nothing else matters.

Thank you,
