Discussion - The U. S. Court System and the Legal Process

In this discussion you will explore the U.S. Court System and the legal process.  Discuss at least one (1) of the following compound questions, 1. Or 2., developing each of your responses with a minimum of  six (6) fully developed sentences.  

1.   Does the hierarchical structure of our court systems work well?   If yes, why do you think it does?  If no, what suggestion do you have that might make it better?  

2.   After reviewing the various steps in taking a case to court, do you find these steps to be too complicated or are they necessary for a case's progress?  Why?
