Term Paper Rough Draft with References due by end of Week 3.

As noted in the Syllabus, the term paper for this course will comprise 25% of your final grade. State facts accurately in your term paper; all sources of information must be properly cited. Follow APA format using double-spacing with one-inch margins all around; use Times-New-Roman size 12 font. (See Writing Help Unit for more information on APA Style) You must include a title page and a reference page. An abstract is not necessary.

Note: There is no minimum length requirement for your term paper. However, you should make sure that your paper is substantive and shows that you have put four weeks' worth of effort into it. A two page term paper on "cognitive processing models in automated systems" would certainly not be considered substantive. Conversely, padding the paper with "fluff" can also have a negative affect on your grade. You are all scholars-do what you think is right! Once again be advised-the first page I look for is the reference page.
